Bought it because it had a good number of reviews and would be delivered the same day. A car I was working on had eaten a bolt and after looking for it for 20 minutes with my son, I decided this was an opportunity to get one of these little borescopes. I took 10 minutes of learning and fiddling with the camera to start using it and I was able to find the missing bolt in 10 or so more minutes. It take a bit to learn what is in the camera frame and once you are there, it is not hard to discern what you are seeing on the screen. I was then able to put a good sharp bend close to the camera end and use the camera to align a different bolt and bolt hole the was really tight to the firewall of the van. Like this tool a lot, though it can wash itself out with the brightness of the led lights.

Easy to use. Works good. Light is fine considering how small the camera and light is. Sorta hard manipulating it for pushing around objects sometimes but you know that going into it. I like that the cord is semi rigid as you can plan ahead and bend it a little to help with pushing camera to the end destination. Like the ease you can take pictures and adjust camera light or view.

The camera seems to be decent and worked for the project I needed it for. These typically don't last a long time, so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time, but there are no indicators at this time to suggest it won't. My only complaint is with the app. It's kind of buggy and would disconnect at times. It actually seemed to work better on an iPhone 10 than it did on a 12, but that could be coincidence. The picture quality was good enough, and I really wasn't expecting much else for this price point. The app gets very low ratings in the App Store, so I don't think I'm the only person to have these issues. There's also the question of what exactly the app is doing when running, but I think that's the same across all manufactures for these imported devices. So far, I haven't had any indications of malware, but I'm also quick to remove these applications as soon as I'm done using the device. From my perspective, these are good for short-term, essentially single-use, and that's the perspective from which I've reviewed this. Who knows if the app will still be available the next time I need it, but again, my experience is that these don't have longevity, so I'll probably just but another one when I need it next.

This is an excellent quality HD endoscope. The images it provides are clear, and the screen is large enough to be able to see issues in close detail. It's very straightforward to use, and the buttons can be accessed even when wearing gloves (unlike a touch screen). The design seems waterproof; the long, stiff, bendable cable certainly seems to have no issues going through pipes and other wet narrow spaces.

Yeah it is what it says it is. Hold the camera button to get to the side camera view, which is helpful in almost every scenario. Its not like the best camera ever, but it works to find out where/if there are beams in a ceiling without taking out drywall, etc, or issues in a pipe. its 16ft as advertised. No battery, it plugs right into your phone so no extra parts. You have to download a weird app that tries to ask for network access to every device (classic). the wire that the camera on is semi turgid, so its not like loose plastic like a charging cable, its more like those twist ties for bread at a grocery store. While it's true, as others have pointed out, that the picture quality is far from great, I would say that it serves the purpose. This is a must-have tool for any DIY'er, the application list is endless. The cable is pretty long and stiff enough to make it easy to direct where you need it. The app is straightforward - truly a plug-and-play experience.

Works great the light control is on the dial so if you wonder why the light is dim turn the dial on the box attached to the cable you can control the brightness.
