Amazing Grinder for the Price – Consistent, Quiet, and Easy to Use
I’ve been using the Tuni G1 grinder for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality for the price. The grind consistency is excellent, especially for espresso, and the 48 grind settings make it super easy to dial in exactly what you want whether you’re doing espresso, pour-over, or French press. The touchscreen and timer are intuitive and accurate, and I love that it grinds directly into the portafilter without making a mess. It’s also quieter than I expected and feels very solid and well-built. The anti-static feature actually works, which is a huge plus compared to other grinders I’ve used that leave coffee everywhere. Setup was simple, and the included accessories are a nice bonus. Overall, this feels like a premium grinder without the premium price tag. Highly recommend it for anyone upgrading from a basic grinder or getting serious about their coffee at home.

Excellent Value Grinder with Solid Performance
The Tuni Coffee Grinder is an impressive option for coffee lovers who want consistent, freshly ground coffee without a steep learning curve or a bulky appliance. It’s compact, well-built, and easy to use, striking a great balance between functionality and convenience. What really stands out is how well it competes with more expensive grinders like Baratza and Breville, but at a fraction of the cost. The grinder feels solid and well-constructed (metal), with a thoughtful design and a compact footprint that fits perfectly on my countertop next to my Casabrews CM5418. I primarily use the grinder for French press, and the grind consistency is excellent—uniform and reliable. I did test the espresso setting as well, and my initial shot came out too fine (settings 0–4). I’m still dialing it in to get the perfect shot, but this feels more like a learning curve than a flaw. The bellows and included shims are a great bonus—make sure to purchase the Noir version if you want these extras. The advanced display is another highlight, offering both a timer and cup-size options, and the grinder operates at a very muted noise level compared to others in this category. Controls are straightforward and intuitive, and I’ve noticed no static in the grounds cup, which is a big plus. Overall, everything feels well thought out. Long-term durability remains to be seen, but first impressions are very positive. For the price, performance, and feature set, this grinder delivers excellent value. ✅Pros Uniform grind (excellent for French press) Solid metal build Quiet operation Compact footprint Bellows and shims included (Noir version) No static ⚠️ Cons Espresso grind takes some dialing in Long-term durability still unknown

High quality grind. Beautiful design.
Beautifuly designed. Delivers a great uniform grind. Looks good at my home coffee station next to the Gaggia. Easy to set up and get using it. Anti static coatings keep the grind where it should be and not all over the machine. Two negatives; is there is no power switch. It goes into sleep mode but thats still vampiring electric. You could plug/unplug it but that gets seriously annoying. And the 'Cups Americano' grind timer either makes no sense or I've been seriously overfiling my portafilter. It takes a setting of '4 cups' to fill my portafilter properly for my standard double shot. Thankfully after a couple trial grinds its simple to adjust your size or time to get what you need from it. Stay on top of burr cleaning as a a bit of buildup seriously deminishes the output.

Top quality, low price! Fantastic Grinder!
Truly excellent grinder for espresso. I had started believing influencers that you needed to spend a fortune to get good coffee grounds. I'm glad I didn't. I got this to replace the built-in grinder on my Breville Barista Express, and the difference is night and day. The Tuni G1 is simple to use. You can set a timer for espresso or set it to a number of cups for drip. Changing the grind size is as simple as turning the dial at the base of the hopper. The grinder is quieter than the built-in Breville one, and grinds so much finer. The magnetic grind cup is fantastic, too. It's also easy to clean. My only complaint is that the bracket for the portafilter is terrible. I lost a few rounds of beans due to vibrations shaking the portafilter off the machine. My advice is to just use the grind cup. Overall, for the price, the G1 is exceptional. Just buy it.

Great value espresso grinder — electric performance at a manual grinder price
After three months of using a manual grinder (the MHW-3BOMBER R3) for espresso, I decided it was time to switch to an electric one. Grinding medium-roast beans had become a workout, and I wanted a more convenient option. That’s when I picked up the Tuni G1 coffee grinder. This grinder offers several features typically found in more expensive models, such as the ability to grind by cups or time. I personally use the time-based grinding function for better precision. Retention is very low, around 0.1 to 0.2 grams, so when I want to pull a shot on my Delonghi Stilosa, I weigh out 16.2 grams and get consistent results. You can also give the grinder a few light taps to reduce retention even further. One of the standout features of the Tuni G1 is its wide range of grind adjustments. It provides enough precision for most espresso needs. However, if you're planning to grind light-roast coffee, the factory settings won’t get you fine enough. To fix this, you’ll need to add a shim under the lower burr, a mod that’s common among grinders like the Baratza Encore (which even sells official shims). With the Tuni G1, you'll need to DIY it using a 0.25 mm thick material. I made mine using a plastic "No Smoking" sign I bought at a store. I marked the bottom of the lower burr with a marker, transferred the pattern onto paper to trace the holes, and cut the shim accordingly. With this simple mod, I gained 8 more clicks of fineness, making it perfect for light roasts. In terms of taste and espresso quality, I’d say the MHW-3BOMBER still has a slight edge, but considering they both cost around $100, the Tuni G1 gives you a lot more convenience and functionality for the same price. If you stick to medium or dark roasts, the default 12 espresso clicks are more than enough, no shim needed. I use this grinder as a single-dose grinder, and it works great. I store my beans in an airtight container to keep them fresh. I also contacted Tuni, and they mentioned they're working on a bellows to help reduce retention even further. I suggested they also consider offering a shim for users who want to grind finer. Overall, this grinder is a fantastic value. You get an espresso-capable electric grinder for the price of a manual one. Sure, it doesn’t have 150 clicks like the R3 Bomber, but you also won’t need to build arm strength every morning just to enjoy a great espresso or latte.

A great coffee grinder!
This is another amazing impressive product from Tuni. I bought this to go with the Tuni Espresso machine. I thought it was pretty and would look great on my counter. The size is perfect and the white is beautiful. The first thing I noticed was how heavy and solid this felt. The next thing I noticed was the magnetic base that held the cup that caught the grounds in one place. No chance for that cup to move and cause a mess when grinding the beans. The next thing I notice was how easily this fit the portafilter and then flip it so that the grounds ended up into the portafilter. I really like how I can dial in the number of seconds on the grind to the amount of coffee to dispense for the perfect shot. It is easily adjustable with different beans. Just add a few more secs by pushing the button to start and stop. The machine is well made and easy to use. Even if you have a coffee grinder, you should still buy this because it is amazing.

Elevate your espresso experience to a whole new level.
I’ve always used pre-ground coffee, so this was my first experience with a grinder—and I have to say, this machine makes the transition seamless. It’s a no-nonsense, user-friendly unit that performs exactly as promised. What surprises me is how overlooked it is—especially by high-profile coffee enthusiasts on YouTube. It’s truly a hidden gem. It ground my beans to a very fine consistency, ideal for pulling proper espresso shots, without any hassle. The design is sleek and compact, and the noise level is absolutely manageable—not whisper-quiet, but far from disruptive. From a value standpoint, this grinder hits a strategic sweet spot: more capable and consistent than the budget-tier options, but without the premium price tag of high-end models. For anyone looking for reliability, simplicity, and real performance, this is a no-brainer.
