Takes some muscle to put together. But it was very easy. Great little vanity and shelving for decor!

When you buy enough pressed wood furniture over the years, and get used to the crummy, flimsy assembly, you learn to appreciate a solid piece of furniture. This desk is solid! As we were assembling this desk, the quality of the craftsmanship pleasantly surprised us. This desk will probably last 10x longer than the pressed wood desks made of wood scraps and sawdust. As for how it looks assembled, it’s sleek, modern, and takes up little space for people with a small work area. This desk was worth every penny and I’ll be following this manufacturer for future designs. Seriously, I was so happy with the finished product that I might steal it from my daughter’s room and move it to my office.

This came out of the box EXTREMELY dusty. By the time I took all the pieces out my hands were all dirty and covered and my clothes were dirty. I had to wipe the pieces down before I put it together. It was very hard deciphering the instructions when it came to the nails but once I figured it out, assembly was relatively easy. The desk itself isn’t as sturdy as I would like but it’s super cute and the size is perfect.

This desk is perfect for those that have limited space to work with, like myself. Unnoticed a lot of other reviewers complained about how hard it was to put together but it took me about an hour and I wasn’t moving fast. There are a couple places that do not have guide holes for the screws but they are wood screws and they should be fine - I drilled small holes in those spots just to make my life easier but it probably wasn’t needed. All in all once this was attached to the wall it felt pretty sturdy - it’s moves as much as any desk does that isn’t made out of mahogany, but you get what you pay for. I like the fact that it’s actual wood and not pressed particle board. All in all very pleased -we will see how it holds up under all those books. End of the semester update: it’s been piled with graduate texts among many other things for months now and it’s still holding up really well and still looks great. I’m please with how sturdy it’s been. Update-Several years and a move later-this desk is still going strong, it’s still together, no warps on the shelves or anything (and they are FULL). The surface has held up and has minimal scratches. One of my better furniture purchases ever.

I put this together all by myself and it was so easy to put together as the instructions were very clear. I use it as a vanity/desk. The shelves hold my makeup things while I use the bottom drawers for stationary and such. I do wish it had came with two drawers but the exposed side is pretty spacious. I could fit my MacBook inside with no issues. Also, the main reason for me purchasing this one is I needed something to fit a small alcove in my room and it fits perfectly. It also has a mounting option but I do not use it as I can not drill into my wall but I don’t need it as it’s near a wall& has not budged. Overall I am very satisfied with this desk. If you’re looking for something that doesn’t take up much space And is very minimalist in design then this is the desk for you.

Where do I start? Lousy instructions for one I guess. It is WAY easier reset the clock on an old VCR or to send a man to the moon than it is to follow these instructions. Once assembled you've got so much space between the sloppy fitting pieces that you could slip a small child through them. Which leads me to another issue, its so wobbly I wouldn't trust it in proximity with any children or pets around because its likely to fall down on them and cause more harm than it did to your fingers when trying to torque down the screws with the cheap Allen wrench they so graciously included! Don't even get me started on how soft the wood is! Just looking at it I swear it developed dents and scuffs in it! Hardwood? Hardly! My old balsa wood airplane kits from childhood are harder than this material! I think the box it came in is sturdier than the finished product. Last point I'd like to make is the dimensions. Actual total width including the sides is almost 34", and the width of the table is 32". We are very limited on space and so it is very important to us that sellers accurately list the "REAL" measurements of their products. For depth and height someone else is going to have to chime in because I didn't leave it assembled long enough to even care about those dimensions. Bottom line, if you're going to get this, do yourself a favor and flush $130 down the toilet instead. In the long run you'll still come out money ahead! And I'm being nice with this review. If Amazon let me I would actually give this product a -Negative star rating because I don't believe it deserves even 1 star.
