With this massager being so small I figured it really wasn't going to work very well but it was wrong. I did have a difficult time figuring out how to hook up the charge cord, it was small and I have a hard time seeing, but once I got it, it charged up pretty quickly. There are different settings for the intensity of the vibrations and for the vibration patterns. I use it on my neck and shoulders when I'm feeling stiff, sore or headachey. It works perfect for the smaller areas.

The vibrator is about 6 inches long. The strength is similar to other inexpensive vibrators. The strength and pattern settings are independent. The vibration patterns all seem to be pretty typical sequences of turning fully-on and fully-off. As far as I can tell there aren't any variable-speed elements to the patterns. Some positive notes: * The battery life is quite long. My expectation was low because the product feels very light weight, so I wouldn't have thought it could have very much of a battery in it, but it lasts about an hour (although the motor gets warm so I wouldn't recommend running it continuously for that long. * You have to hold the power button down for a little while before it will turn on, so it is a bit less likely to turn on accidentally if you have it in a bag with other things that could bump the button. Some negatives: * The noise is generally pretty average for an inexpensive vibrator, except that sometimes it gets a louder buzzing sound like there's something a little loose inside it somewhere * The buttons are hard to find without looking at them. The vibrator is rotationally symmetrical, so you can't really orient by shape, and the buttons are small enough that they are hard to find by feel or texture, especially when the vibrator is turned on. * Charging requires a special USB cable. These days, anything that isn't USB-C is a slight disappointment. This particular kind of plug (2-conductor 2.5mm plug) seems like a good design for water-resistance, but I've had other devices with this kind of plug fail because water got into the charging port and rusted out the contacts.

The things that make this a good choice have to do with size, quality of build, and operating features. This is sized well, and is not "too big", nor is it "too small". It's a handy size that goes anywhere with you. The majority of the massager is covered in a thick, resilient silicone rubber, which is easy to clean. The quality is very good, and the unit feels solid, and has some weight to it. No seams of any sort, anywhere. The unit is rechargeable, and comes with a charge cord (USB-A to USB-C), and features several speeds and modes. This should accommodate all of your needs, and soothe those sore, achy muscles. Keep it in your purse, or pocket, toss one in your car, or desk drawer. It's just the right size, and it's an excellent value. It's also quite a bit more quiet than others I've seen.

I ordered this product and does not charge or even turn on. It has been plugged into three different power sources for two days now (directly into a wall charger, the USB port on a computer and a battery pack portable charger) and when plugged it lights up like it charging but never turns on. Defective product unfortunately.

It is nearly all waterproof, other than the plastic-chrome base. The vibrations are strong for their purpose and it is small enough to fit nicely into a hand. My partner likes it enough that it was worthwhile getting it.
