Truly scentless. Will buy again.
Truly scentless so if you have fragrance allergies go ahead and try it. It also seems effective yet gentle and easy to rinse out. I found it through a third-party product review and pulled the trigger. The small amount I've found I need per hand wash also makes me think that one bottle will last a long time. Very happy with this product. Will buy again.

Rinses out easily with no soapy residue
This soap for handmade knitted wool items is really nice. It rinses out easily and is gentle on my hand knitted items. I ordered the unscented so it had no strong smell. It made my clothes soft and clean.

Great soap!
Really like this soap! It’s got a nice fragrance and doesn’t seem to leave any residue. I was surprised at how easy it is to use and how effective it is on clothes. It’s a small bottle, but seems to be highly concentrated. Definitely worth buying.

Effective No-Rinse Soap That’s Perfect for Delicates
I’ve used Soak Laundry Soap for a few months on delicate fabrics like wool and silk. The no-rinse formula really saves time and leaves items clean without any residue or stiffness. The scent is light and fades quickly after drying, which I prefer. A little goes a long way, so one bottle lasts a long time even with regular use. It’s more expensive than standard detergent, but the results and fabric care quality make it worth it.

Soft Wool, Soft Scent... Maybe Too Soft
It’s wool soap—does what it says on the bottle. But let me tell you, it smells lovely while it’s doing its thing. Soaking my knit projects feels like a tiny spa day for sweaters. The only bummer? That scent basically ghosts you once everything’s dry. Poof. Gone. Like it was never there. A bit of a letdown, especially when you’re sniffing your finished work like a weirdo hoping for that cozy lavender (or whatever) to linger. BUT! The cleaning power is fantastic, it blocks beautifully, and it leaves your woolies soft, squishy, and ready for compliments. So while the scent fades, the results definitely don’t.

Works well
Okay so a little backstory. Washer broke a while ago, but I'm a lazy bachelor who's worked mostly from home since the pandemic lockdowns. So outside of my active wear, I just don't generate a whole lot of dirty clothing. I've got my favorite work-from-home sweatpants and you don't need to know how long I can go without washing those. I have two pairs and I keep those suckers on rotation. Anyway I got into just handwashing my clothes a couple years ago since I do smaller loads anyway, but I was using store-bought detergents meant for washing machines... Just about half a teaspoon of detergent in a couple gallons of water, a little hand agitation, then walk away for about 30 minutes before rinsing. It definitely works, but it always felt like it took too many rinses to get the dang stuff out of my clothes... which led me to some intense 5 minute internet research. So now I've discovered Soak. Apparently you ladies out there knew about no-rinse detergents like this a while ago for your delicates and such, but you never told us men... Alright then, keep your secrets! Well I found out anyway and so far I'm impressed. I've only used Soak for a few loads so far, and so far so good. It cleans and freshens lightly soiled clothes very well. The fact that I don't have to rinse it is the biggest selling point for me. It saves a lot of water, and it makes the way I wash clothes feel even more low effort. I just Soak a couple clothing items, wring em, hang em up on the rack, then go back to whatever unproductive thing I was doing. Very easy. Lazy man approves. I have not yet tried this detergent on heavily stained or soiled clothes yet, but I'll give it a try. Even if I have to pull out stronger detergents for those situations, I think Soak would still be worth it for lightly soiled items like a t-shirt after a wear or two. So I definitely recommend this product.

FAR Exceeded my Expectations! This is like a miracle
After a little research I got this to wash the thigh high compression hosiery/torture devices I have to wear for a while. I have to wash them every day. Soak comes in many scents, but I always use scentless so that's what I got. First time, I read the directions, which said to use one gallon of water with one teaspoon (one TEASPOON? yes!) of Soak wash, then to add the things to be washed, soak for 15 minutes, and that's it. No rinse necessary. I squeezed them gently and put on a sweater dryer - clean and dry in the morning. Then I got a dog harness one of my dogs had on for a procedure at the vet. I was covered with blood when I picked her up, because they put it on her before she came to. Good idea; she's a wiggle worm. The harness had been in the laundry room basket for three weeks. I had forgotten about it. So I put a gallon of water and a teaspoon of Soak in the sink, put in the harness blood side down, 15 minutes later absolutely no sign of blood in the water or on the harness. It was like magic - highly effective - and I heartily recommend Soak! Also can be used in a washing machine.

This stuff saved my Mardi Gras dress
If you have ever attended a Mardi Gras event, you need this. I spent a chunk-o-change on a designer formal gown, only to have revelers slosh booze all over the floor and then I got to watch in horror as the hem of my dress drank it up like professional drunk. The gown had embellishments and dry clean was not an option. I figured I may as well try to save it, instead of throwing it in the trash. Soaked it in the tub with this stuff and really worked into the spirits soaked train area of the dress. I let it air dry flat on beach towels, rotating and making sure all sides got air flow. BY GOD THAT DRESS LOOKS LIKE NEW. Big fan.
