This kit was such a fun way to explore our taste genetics as a family. It comes with four types of strips—PTC, thiourea, sodium benzoate, and a control—and it was fascinating to see how differently each of us responded. One of us was a clear supertaster, another couldn’t taste anything at all! Even though instructions weren’t included, we didn’t need them—it’s very self-explanatory, and everything is clearly labeled. The quality was great, and we had some really interesting conversations afterward. Highly recommend for families, classrooms, or anyone curious about their taste perception!
