This tool works great! Better than a clamp at each corner. Wish I had this years ago.

This was a stunning success in helping to fix 2 frames which had fallen and broken apart at the corners where glued. I had to clean up both frames where the surfaces had been previously glued to make them smooth and then tested the frame came together first by strapping it down tightly. One I had to adjust slightly as it had been previously repaired and had excess glu stopping the two surfaces from mating clean. Once I was happy, I removed the clamp, glued the surfaces and re-mated them together and then clamped them tight. 24 hours later, removed the clamp and voila... perfectly married surfaces. Without this clamp I'd have struggled and I think done a less than good job. Highly recommend.

The corner pieces are plastic and could break under pressure. I’ve used the clamp to make two picture frames so far, and it worked very well. With Gorilla Glue, you don’t need a lot of pressure, so I haven’t over-tightened it. Just good and snug. Worth the money so far.

The easy installation eliminates struggle and frustration with aligning mitered corners. The threated handle is perfect, great grip and controls tension on the belt slowly which allows the user to adjust the frame joints. I have used professional framing vises costing over $100 and this band clamp does the job much faster. All four corners are glued at once. No concern for the glue drying before clamping. The mechanism and corner braces stay in place and the threaded tightener allows for precise tension. This is a sturdy tool that I expect to have in use for a long time. Well worth the money. Don’t waste your time and money on one at a time corner clamps.

It worked fine for the first few uses, but then some plastic in the handle broke off. It was the plastic guide that swept one side of the webbing 90° towards the handle, so now it doesn't really pull on that side. It pulls on the other side, so I get half the clamping force. The parts of this that take any real force need to be made out of a stronger material.

The plastic guidance supports that hold the strap at a 90 degree angle are flimsy, so they'll break easily if the straps are pulling at other angles (especially at wider angles). Also, the side tabs used for coarse adjustments are poorly designed: they're hard to thread, hard to lock, and very easy to release accidentally (especially because they stick out when locked and so are easily knocked). The clamp is still awkwardly usable with broken guidance supports and might come in handy if treated gingerly, but this is built more like a toy than a tool.

Best clamps if you are making your own frames. Easy to manage.

No complaint so far: I used the tool to build a couple of picture frames. Very happy with the purchase.
