Not all Teriyaki Sauces are the same
Shopping in the local grocery stores for a Teriyaki Sauce that is good is a challenge these days. Big name brands take up most of the shelf space leaving the family owned brands / products left out for the consumer to try. I first tried this Teriyaki Sauce last Spring because the Chicken Teriyaki bowls we were buying we too dry, we wanted a good tasting Teriyaki Sauce to add to the chicken Teriyaki Bowls to make them better. Tried a couple bottles from the local stores and they did not complement the sauce already in the bowls. Tried Amazon and thank you Nippon Shokken Teriyaki Sauce, its the sauce we were looking for. I have now bought 5 bottles of this Teriyaki Sauce over the last 7 months and when we do order it, I buy 2 bottles at a time so we do not run out before ordering more. It's not too strong and not too sweet or bitter. Thank you for making a good product at a reasonable price. Its the only Teriyaki Sauce we purchase now.

Best Teriyaki
This is my favorite teriyaki sauce that is used by Suvie Oven. I found the same brand sold by JDJ trading Co, and they shipped it out very quickly.

Outstanding Flavor
Flavor is outstanding for salmon. I have to pay more here on Amazon which is not competitive since it's not sold anywhere here in Vegas.

Expensive But Great
Last year I bought a bottle of this Nippon Shokken teriyaki sauce at Sunset Foods in Northbrook, IL, when they had a representative in the store introducing it to customers. It was a whim -- I thought it was expensive but I wanted to make some chicken teriyaki after I tasted a sample in the store. Then I got home and studied the label. It was hard to understand why the simple ingredient list would make the sauce so expensive. Then I used it to marinade and make the chicken teriyaki. Well, wow. This is simply the best teriyaki sauce for chicken that I've ever used. Now I purchase it regularly. It doesn't take much (one third of a bottle) to make a batch of chicken that serves four hearty appetites. Highly recommended!
