3 Tier Low Bookcase

shelf was really easy to build and is very sturdy, its pretty big and it looks great with my room. i think it was worth the money because i love it, it holds alot of things, screws are easy and the instructions are very clear. you can put anything on it and it would hold!

We bought this to sit on our hearth when we had our old gas fire removed. The fire removal had left a large cemented area which we didn't know how to cover up. This book case was perfect for that job. It was the perfect size to sit on the hearth and we have put ornaments on it. Our hearth and wooden surround were a slightly lighter colour and this book case colour contrasts with the lighter surround perfectly. You didn't need to, but I used some PVA glue on the holes where the wooden dowels (round pegs) went into & along the joins just to give the book case added strength. Like I said, you don't need to and the instructions don't mention this but it's something I like to do on these flat packs. The screw holes were all in the correct positions which was a relief and I would advise having 2 people to assemble this easily, although you could try on your own but would take longer. I think my son and I took around just under 30mins to complete with a cordless screwdriver. One small nice touch was the way the counter sunk screws were covered. It was with small round stickers that were wood effect stickers which you peel off and match the wood grain of the book case. I gave this 4 stars as the top piece of wood, at the rear thank goodness, was slightly damaged at the corner like it had been dropped. But it was at the rear so I decided to keep it as we needed to cover the cemented hole where the fire used to be. If it didn't have the small damage I would have given 5 stars no problem. Looks very nice though.

A really good solid unit which was at a great price. The instructions were simple and clear, so it was easy to build. The 3 shelves hold a large number of books. Would certainly recommend it.

I bought two of these and am currently using both of them. Pros: *Shelves and sides are sturdy with a nice finish. *Putting most of it together is easy. *Stickers to cover screw holes are a very good idea. *Have a lot of space. Cons: *Backboards were all cut unevenly for both of them which is a major issue both because parts overhang the sides, but it then makes it difficult to put on every other board. I feel like it started well then cheaped out with the back. A back you screw in would be significantly better than this. The back is in five pieces you have to nail on and one you screw the wall attachments to. Much of it isn't noticeable from afar if nails go through or the back is uneven, but it was still quite annoying putting it together and trying as much as possible not to randomly pierce the backboards. *A couple of shelves were chipped a little, I just put the undamaged side facing up as it doesn't strongly matter to me. Over all I'm giving it 3 stars. They are okay, usable, and aesthetically very nice, easily hiding much of the visual flaws, but whatever or whoever is cutting the backboards is not cutting them evenly or straight which really is a significant problem and frustrating when putting it together, some shelves were minimally damaged, and they're really not worth the full price, the quality checks that should be there for the full price just aren't. If you don't care much and just want some shelves, then this is fine, it's just not quality checked as much as it should be.

Arrived in great condition in box ,made it up myself with very easy to follow instructions,I was amazed at the weight and quality of wood very sturdy but when made up you will need someone to help you move into place as it’s really good quality not a flimsy lite weight thing ,Recommend to everyone buy with confidence.Gary

A pretty decent little bookcase, especially for the price, and the oak effect finish is better than I expected at this level. However, it is actually nearly 76.5cm tall, not the 75cm specified. I know it says "approximate measurements", but the reason it's over-spec is because the side pieces are exactly 75cm tall, so putting the top on makes it taller by the thickness of the top part, which is not just a case of approximate measurements/tolerances. This might not seem like much but if you are putting it alongside something that is actually 75cm tall and expecting it to be fairly flush, it is notably taller. Otherwise, good value.

Very happy with my bookcase, very easy to assemble, not to heavy but very sturdy..holds everything i wanted it for.

Molto carino e facile da montare! Mio figlio ha poco spazio in camera, per cui ci serviva una piccola libreria e questa è perfetta!
