Great net, durable smooth throw comfortable wristband
This is a great net. I use it for catching shiners and this net works great. Long rope for deep water and it has a nice comfortable wrist band. Throws super smooth. I would recommend practicing if you’re not experienced with a net this size. I went to a 6’ and it took a little getting use to but didn’t take long to get it down. Net is durable and looks well built for its price. Definitely recommend this net.

Great set for the price & easy to use!
Great cast net for the price! After watching some YouTube demos on throwing this type of cast net, i was throwing near perfect pancakes practicing in the back yard. The travel case works great and even has a built in mesh screen in the bottom to drain if need be. Set also comes with the live bait basket which cinches at the top.

Not sewn right
I bought this to be ready when the bait showed up. Finally got to use it. It's terrible. First, I thought it was me, but then I had a professional (cast nets for a living) try it. It pulls up one side, every throw. This means no shrimp nor bait fish are caught (because it doesn't close). It's just not put together correctly and can't be fixed. I past the return window, so on the shelf it sits. Pass on this brand. It's a shame, because the netting material is really nice.

Easy to use.
I was trying to teach my son how to cast. His Dad bought this for him thinking it could help. He is still very small and it still is too long for him to handle , but I am casting better with this. I am more consistent. Just as long as I do not throw it inside out!

Way to big
This is a good net however the size is crazy big. I bought a 6ft thinking it would open upto 6ft. Wrong it open up 12ft which makes it very difficult to use. I wish I would of known that it opens 2x the listed size...

Tangled mess.
I like that this net is lightweight and the netting material is not overly stiff, also the ring makes throwing pancakes much easier. However, the lines running from the horn to the weights move after each cast. This means every time you throw it, you have to lay it on the ground, find the lines that are off, and readjust them. It is a very time consuming process that should not be needed!Another concern is that the nets tears easily. After a few throws it is already showing wear with several small holes. After a month I am in the market for a new cast net!

Good for the catch
New user of fishing nets. After a couple videos I got the hang of it. Bin is good to have and the net is made from good material.

Broke on 3rd throw
On the third throw it the plastic piece in the middle of the ring came out and then net stopped opening. The white string holding it in place came apart. It opened nice the first two throws but really unfortunate it broke the first trip out with especially given how much I paid for it.
