A great reference book for children... and adults!
A great read for its main target audience... children. But also a really nice, light but informative read for adults too. This series of books has some very high quality illustrations. Terrific
Great illustrations, good coverage. A very good quality book. Aimed at older than my grandson’s age (8) but great to sit with him and read together, or just let him browse the pictures. It will remain useful through several years. At 73, I find the coverage interesting and informative, the book doesn’t talk down to you.

Great book - pity about the packaging
The book is lovely and a welcome birthday gift for a child who loves science. Illustrations are stunning. Bought from Amazon and shocked at packaging. I was surprised it survived without damage. It was put in an oversized Amazon box in which it rattled around with no wrapping / other protection - box was crushed in one corner. Book is therefore pretty robust!!
