Easy startup and Responsive Customer Service
November 2020 Update:. System works as advertised. I've had issues with one camera that was showing an appearance of cobwebs in the infrared mode during cooler weather. It took a little time but the vendor did replace the camera. That was occurring last spring. Now I'm having the same issue with 2 to 4 other cameras. I've sent a text with pictures to the seller's tech with hopes they will replace these faulty cameras. I'm afraid it is symptom of the design. Temps haven't been below the camera's rating. Holding back on reducing my rating until the vendor responds this time. 15 Mar Update: I had some issues with the HDD. Customer service is great. Some issue with understanding the tech, but not really a complaint. I had to reformat the HDD to get the system recording. Tech service responded to all my requests. Only issue is still email notifications not being allowed by Google. Not sure what that is about other that Google may be protecting my privacy/security from some issue related to this company. Based on number of alerts the system sends me quite a few alerts through the app, which is a good alternative and probably better than getting a lot of emails. Adjusting sensitivity on cameras and therefore number of alerts sent out to you is necessary in order to not get overwhelmed by alerts. It was pretty much plug and play, however....be aware that the instructions are not totally clear. The translation is 'good', but not great. Some areas I'm still trying to get my head around. I don't want to degrade my rating until I'm sure I'm understanding things completely. I believe the shortcomings I'm concerned with may play across all systems as they are all produced in China and pretty much have the same firmware. What I'd like to be able to do is remotely rewind recordings after I've received an alert. Haven't figured out how to do this or if it's possible. One somewhat serious issue is that I can't send emails from the unit to my phone. Google keeps blocking the NVR emails as unauthorized with potential for causing issues. I also don't see some of the settings in the instructions on my screen hooked to the NVR. Anyway the system is recording video and the pictures look clear. Just a bit more fine tuning, hopefully.

Great Affordable Security Camera System
I purchased this Isotech strong wifi wireless camera system to replace an older system in my home. I installed it about three months ago and I am very happy with the system. First, the quality of the picture is much better than my old system (of course). Second, it was so easy to set up, you basically connect a monitor to the DVR box, plug the power adapters in to the cameras and they connect. Third, it is also easy to set up the remote access and it works perfectly! Fourth, being wireless cameras, you only have to get power to the camera, you do not have to connect wires all the way back to the DVR box. And finally, the wireless connections have been perfect. I was a little concerned about potential wireless issues (range, interference, etc.), but my fears were proven unfounded. We have a fairly large 4 bedroom, two story house with a three car garage and I have the cameras kind of scattered all over. They all maintain a solid connection without the use of a repeater. The set came with one extra antenna attached to a cable. It appears this would be to allow you to put the antenna in a better location if you had to put the camera itself in a tough spot. I, however, have not needed it. I will say that after a few days, one of the original wireless cameras died. I contacted Isotech and they sent me instructions on diagnostic steps to take. After following all of these and confirming that the camera was totally dead, Kiki with Isotech sent me a replacement which is working great. If I had another house I needed to install security cameras for, I would go right back to Isotech. Not only am I happy with my current system, but I know that they stand behind their product.

Plug and PLay
A good system. Truly a plug and play right out of the box. Plug the cameras in to an AC outlet and they auto pair with the system within minutes. To minimize space/clutter on my desk, I positioned the ISOTECH Network Video Recorder (black box) next to my home computer and share my existing 24" monitor. I separately purchased a KVM switch (small black box with a button) that allows user to toggle back and forth between the ISOTECh system and my home computer CPU. Works great. I also set up my Iphone and Ipad Pro for mobile viewing and it works great for current images and retrieval of recordings. In addition, while setting up the cameras outside of the house, I had my Ipad Pro in my hand so I could adjust the cameras the same time I was installing them. This saved a lot of time. After trial and error, I set up the cameras to only record on motion verses recording constantly. It allows quick retrieval of events and saves HD space. I had trouble trying to retrieve recordings and send via e-mail since the system records the files as "AVI" which I didn't know anything about. I called support and after a while they provided a solution recommendation and was suggested I use an APP called VLC. I downloaded VLC and it allowed me to convert the recordings to a MPEG4 file so I could send via e-mail. The support desk was completely taken off guard when I asked the question about sending the recordings via email. I would have assumed this important step in a security camera would have been thought out and put somewhere in the setup instructions. Night vision is Ok, I was expecting better. But for my use, this system met my expectations and would recommend to others.
