It did nothing for the gas mileage and I would advise you not to buy it. There was no support from the manufacturer and there was not enough hose or wire for the installation on a 98 Crown Vic. The cost of the chemicals needed to produce the hydrogen will exceed any savings you might get. You also have to build a platform in front of the radiator and that is additional cost for you. It has now stopped working after about one year, and I did not get any increase in mileage. The tank is very cheep and the system leaked without using pipe dope. It took me three days to install it, not three hours. If you live in a cold climate, you will have to heat it or drain it in the winter. It was a total waste of money.
