Out of the box, this has absolutely been my best purchase of the year so far. I often have a need to do things in a split screen mode - Excel charts, moving data from here to there, lots of things. But, I also like the portability of being able to move around from place to place and not be tied down to a desk somewhere. This really helped me combine the convenience of dual screens with the portability of a laptop. This takes care of that. Straight from the box it comes with all of the cables you need to plug into your USB-C port and get started. There is no set up except expanding the spring-loaded brackets and putting it around your laptop screen. The plug in back is situated nicely so that you can easily plug into either side of your laptop ports. Getting power and video from the USB-C means you don't need extra power cords or bulky HDMI cables. This is 100% plug and play. No additional drivers or set up necessary. As soon as I plugged it in - bam - it was giving me the dual monitor beauty I needed. The screen is hefty and feel high-quality. The picture is crisp and it seems that it has it's own speakers as well. Brightness is adjusted independent of the main monitor which is a nice function as well. All in all, a great find and I'll happily be using this monitor extension for years to come.

I just got this in the mail about an hour ago. After putting it together and setting my screen preferences, I took it for a test run. I have to say for the price, overall and screen quality this is definitely worth it! It was super simple to put together, not a lot of complicated or small parts with screws, everything snaps together. It’s comes with a couple cable options depending on your computers needs, but it’s has a very easy plug and play capability The 16” screens are a the perfect size for me, especially since my laptop has a 16” screen. The brightness is good and adjusts to match my laptop screen with zero lag or blur in the screens, overall good quality. As far as functionality, the adjustable backplate that your laptop screen rests against can be made to fit snug for a flush screen view or you can loosen it to allow the screens to be angled towards you. It’s a little bulky, but I’m definitely taking this on business trips with me. This will come in handy for when I need to work from my hotel room or sitting at the airport for hours on end. Especially if I’m at one of my offices and there isn’t an available do king station with multiple screens. 10 out of 10!

I'm generally very pleased with the FLYTOCCA 16" Laptop Screen Extender, particularly at this price point. Pros: * Screens are bright and clear, with a 1200 pixel vertical resolution, which matches my laptop. * There are multiple options for configuring the screen layout. * Cables for multiple configurations are included. * Screens can be rotated 90 degrees for portrait mode, which is great for coding or writing documentation. * Screens can be folded back by more than 90 degrees, allowing visibility to people around a table. * The whole kit folds up and has a carrying pouch that's great for travel. Cons: * The screens won't fold fully back (180 degrees), but I didn't anticipate this feature would be available. * Due to the weight of the screens when both are in use, they need to be propped back. When propped back with the screens angled slightly inwards, the bottoms are no longer parallel to the table, so they are viewed at a slight angle. The direction of their rotation ability does not allow this angle to be eliminated. This is the only reason I'm not giving this product a full five stars. If 4.5 stars were possible, that's the rating I'd provide. Allowing 10 degrees of rotation in the opposite direction would solve this issue. Note: I've seen that some people have connectivity issues. I have a USB-C thunderbolt that powers and sends video to one monitor, and an HDMI connector for the other monitor. The HDMI connection requires additional power. My USB-A port is able to provide this, but some people may need to use either a powered hub or a USB power supply. 16" screens are right on the edge of what a typical USB port can power. Some older laptops with integrated video and only two clocks might not be able to drive more than two displays (including the integrated display).
