It works!
I was worried that this wouldn't work to charge my 9505A since the factory charger has a 6V output. I am happy to report that the phone recognizes this as a charger with a 5V USB block.

Great replacement for Iridium 9505A charger and it’s USB!
Worked well for my Iridium 9505A. My original adapter broke and was looking for a replacement. With everything being universally charged with USB these days, this was a great find! My 9505A recognizes this as a high speed charger so no difference over the international charger provided in the original box.
