The chapters were all funny and light hearted. It was such a cute little romance! I have one down side but it's spoilers so don't read further if you don't want a spoiler! * * * * * * * * * * * * I would've rather it been a true romance that continues and is actualized. Instead it was just pining throughout the whole book. It was such a nice innocent gay story, and was a more realistic version of being gay than yaoi and boys love manga usually are. But because of it, there's that sort of fear of "What will he think when he finds out I'm gay?" "Will he like me back if I confess or will he dislike me for being gay?". Because of this I would've liked it to move all the way to confession, because that weight could've been lifted. It sounds like this is going to be the only volume (i.e. this isn't volume one, but the complete story) which is why I added this. If it were to continue, then I understand and am happy with it building slowly and not having gotten to confession quiet yet. Review: Adorable story - So cute!!

A Really Sweet Slice of Life BL Manga
As a product, Go For It, Nakamura! is an easy 5 stars. It came in time, had zero dents or scratches, and all the pages appear to be printed correctly. As for the book, it's absolutely adorable. First things first, the art style is simply fantastic. I have a lot of nostalgia for 90's anime and manga's style and this hits that hard for me. The story is a slow burn slice of life romance that is unfortunately, only a one shot. For those unfamiliar with the term, it essentially means that it's a self contained volume which is sad given the volume ends with *lowkey spoilers* a great start at Nakamura and Hirose's growing friendship. The book is a fun ride with you really starting to understand the title about 7 chapters in and it just makes you want to scream "Go for it, Nakmura!"

Cute story and art
This manga is cute from its story and art. The art style is reminiscent of older manga/anime styles and its very charming.

Very cute
This is a really lovely story. It makes me think of the development of BL manga over the years, back when Tokyo Pop was the biggest manga distributor in the US. The style is like a modernized take on early 90s styles of manga, like you'd see drawn by Rumiko Takahashi. The characters are sweet but they're more than hollow archetypes. You really feel for poor Nakamura and want to see him make some progress with Hirose, and even just interact with others. It's a fun and light read so definitely pick it up.

The Awkward Age
Ever fallen -- I mean really fallen -- for someone totally out of your league? If so, you'll understand the achingly funny appeal of GO FOR IT, NAKAMURA!, a one-off manga written and drawn by Syundei (a long-awaited sequel is slated for 2022). Maybe you were never like Nakamura -- a closeted, socially inept gay teenager who finds it easier to talk to his pet octopus than to other people -- but it's easy to sympathize with him, seeing him obsessed with a cute boy in his class. Hirose is outgoing, athletic, popular, and barely aware that Nakamura exists, and for all the confident smooth talk in the timid Nakamura's imagination, his pathetic RL attempts to get close to Hirose invariably end in public humiliation. Maybe this is one of those comics best appreciated by those who've been there, but who hasn't been there? The author never even bothers to inform us what Hirose's sexual orientation is, not that it matters. This manga isn't about romance, it's about the fact that even a loser like Nakamura doesn't have to be alone. Love and friendship are wherever you make room for them to grow. Don't let me downplay Syundei's drawings: they are hilarious.

It was pretty great, and I need another book
Okay, I just finished reading the manga, and I've got to say that its pretty good. There are some flaws to it (like the repeating of introducing the main character), but if you put it aside, this really isn't a bad book. I liked the female character Kawamura. She was adorable and goofy. And the main character was a magnificent dork. I felt pretty connected to him, in a way. It was enjoyable.

Really dang cute, love the art style!
(Spoiler free) God, I like this book. It's cheesy, but you kinda get the feeling that the author is self-aware about it. And there's some genuinely sweet moments too that I didn't expect, but really enjoyed. The characters aren't really "developed" so to speak, but they're DEFINITELY lovable. The art has an "old" manga feel to it that really translated well into a newer style. Overall it's a simple, cute story with an unexpected ending that I really like. Coming from a person that is really picky about their manga, this is worth a read. :]

The main character is funny, the story is not written very well, but good enough to have some fun. The stile is good.

This story is so innoncently cute and pure! The main character is head over heels for his classmate and tries to get closer to him, while also being kinda jealous of his teacher since he is being admired by his crush. It's an heartwarming tale that needs to be read by everyone who adores bl
