But the little stinker likes to scratch at the fabric too so fair warning. He prefers scratching this over his scratching pad and tree. Ok so as anyone knows who shops online regularly, you're always spending soooooo much time doing research and trying to figure out if it is actually what you want and doubting, "is this going to be the same in person as it is described? Are these photos edited to look better than the item really is?" And you make sure you can return it because you've had more instances of having to return something because it is so different from how it looked/sounded on the website (thank you kohls and Amazon for working together to make returns easier!). Is it just me that does that? Maybe.. but let me tell you, this is honest to dear goodness just as wonderful as I was hoping it would be. The color is SPOT ON and sooooo beautiful! It is surprisingly great quality fabric (I'm a crafter so I have experience working with lots of different fabrics), it is very lightweight yet sturdy. I took lots of pictures to show you sizing. It is low to the ground but I feel the photos good a job of showing that the legs are short. The space inside may not be all a buyer is hoping for since it is narrow but I feel you could still fit quite a bit in this space depending on if your putting blankets or coats/hats/gloves or even board games! And it is a smaller ottoman, which is exactly what I was looking for. I use it in my one bedroom apartment right by the front door to act as a bench for taking shoes on and off so that the floor doesn't get dirty as quickly. The top lifts sooooooo smoothly, definitely impressed with the hardware since it not only opens easily but STAYS OPEN. All I can finish up with is it is 100% a great buy. Especially for the price! I saw entryway trees (the things that are a bench, coat rack and sometimes shoe rack all in one but they are small and the ones on here are really short. With this I have a wonderful bench that has storage, there is enough room for both my husband and I to take our shoes on & off (we are petite people but he has long arms and he usually bumps me with his elbows but not on this!) and even though we have pets that shed like crazy, because of the type of fabric is used on this, de-furring is a breeze! I have no idea what spills look like but as fall has arrived and winter approaches, I'll be curious to see how it holds up when we come in wet from rain or snow.

All of the reviews for this product are spot on. Storage is great, cushion is firm (definitely not soft), which works for me as it is being used as an entryway bench, ample storage space, quick to assemble (only have to screw in legs) and seems sturdy. Hopefully it withstands the test of time. My only complaint is that the color borders on hunter green versus dark teal. In the photo I added a dark teal throw pillow for color comparison. I thought it would be a closer match to my existing decor, but it looks quite green (versus greenish blue) when next to other teal items. With some slight decor adjustments I think I can make it work, as it was good value for money (under $90), fits the space and has the storage I need.

I trusted the positive reviews, which were plenty, but I always check out the 1 star reviews also. I was expecting lower quality, legs wouldn't attach properly, not strong enough to sit on, it would sit too low and would be difficult to unpack. So in other words I was trusting a few gripers to outweigh the other 95% of the reviews. They were wrong and the positive reviews were correct. Very high quality, inexpensive but not cheap looking. The legs attach very easily and very solidly and they are great looking on it. I am 230 pounds and wasn't planning on using this to sit on, I wanted it for a storage area in my spare bedroom that was smaller than a dresser. But I was curious to see how strong it was and I sat on it. No, it didn't crack, or give in any way. It felt very solid. Also, I didn't think that it sat too low. For me it's perfect for storage but if someone wanted to sit on it they could. And it was easy to unpack. (Seriously, some people will try to find anything to complain about!) I say for the money it's a great value. If you are having doubts, don't. Just buy it. I'm very happy with mine.

Great storage and very sturdy good value for money and a pretty color

I got notification from Amazon is the delivery expected is 15th Feb but it came one day before. Amazon is more efficient than their own system. Hats off to Amazon people. Now for product, product meets my expectations. It is sturdy and strong. Look is very nice. Quality is also very good. I definitely recommend this product if you want compact size of sitting arrangement in living room with storage place. This is a best option.

After placing my order for a very attractive Ottoman, a few days later I received a message advising that the item could not be shipped to Australia. Very, very disappointed.

The ottoman seems sturdy and arrived in good condition. I was a little surprised at the padding on the top, seems a little thin and the foam doesn't spring back into shape leaving the fabric looking baggy, so I'm not sure how long this will look good for. Although not bought as a seat, it is very firm to sit on, but then you wouldn't want to sit for ages on it I guess. Overall, I am pleased with the ottoman, but as stated I'm a little concerned about how it will look good long term. I have included photos after sitting on it for only several seconds.
