Orbit 53550 2" x 50' Pipe Wrap Tape

20 mil. Great vinyl tape. Very tough. Sticky.

Very thick tape. Very adhesive. No freeze damage on pipes.

I used this tape to wrap foam insulation around outdoor pipes, and it was perfect for the job. The price is rather high, but it seems justified given the tape is flexible and durable and provides great adhesion. Texas has extreme weather swings and it has held up well to multiple scorching summers followed by cold winters.

This tape is very thick, and sticks very well to flat, clean, and dry surfaces. But if the surface is damp or dirty, or uneven, like corrugated drain tile, it struggled to adhere well. Which is why we gave it 4 stars. We used this tape to install a T-Joint that connected 6-inch corrugated ADS to 4-inch corrugated ADS. Unfortunately the installation was on pipe that was already underground, and the conditions were not ideal with residual moisture and some standing water. It stuck very well to the flat dry surface of the T-joint, but it did not stick too well to the corrugated pipe, especially if it had some sand on it or some moisture. That being said, if you use this tape on dry and clean pipe prior to putting in the ground, I would think the application would be much easier and it would adhere better.

Pick this up with duck brand insulation for DIY A/C work. See pic. Worked great.

I love this stuff. I use it to wrap everything thats sun exposed. I feel like I use so much of the tape that I may single handedly be helping to keep Orbit in business.

Heavy duty tape used for sealing joints on plastic drainage pipe. However, the tape also has many other applications where a heavy duty tape is required.

Amazing pipe tape which was not used for its intended purpose. Was used as finishing tape for a warp job on a sim wheel. Worked as a great substitute for electrical tape as this tape doesn't not leave behind residue and adheres to itself quite well. 10/10 I like the branding on the tape!

Very strong dosnt seem that sticky but sticks well to itself i used it to take my lines for my submersible well pump and very fast to arrive

Never used this tape before but found it not to be as pliable as expected.
