Direct replacement. Unfortunately requires disassembling the whole bottom portion of the laptop to get it in. Other than that it is a perfect fit and works fine.

The keyboard works perfectly as you can see: 1234567890 abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. The old keyboard would not do rtyuio 5 I'm a happy camper now!

The keyboard fit perfectly and zero issues so far. I have it a low rating on east to install because there are zero instructions and after searching for video’s on you tube I found that you need to take everything off - fan / motherboard, etc . Once I got over that it was a breeze

This is a perfect replacement keyboard for the Toshiba Satellite Radius P55W-C5200X. I only gave 2 stars to the "Easy to install" category since the installation requires complete tear-down of the laptop (not the easiest or quickest of jobs, even for someone with experience at working on laptop computers). If you get this keyboard with the intention to "do it yourself", I would HIGHLY recommend that you only install it yourself if you have a lot of experience in working on laptops! Otherwise, you might want to find someone who does have the experience to install it for you. If you DO install it yourself, count on at least 1-2 hours for the installation.

I could install it, yes, no problem. Once installed, everything looked good and functional but now just with a little bit or pressure, the minimal amount of pressure in the back of the computer (lets say i rest the computer on a folded bubble bag), the keys start typing a lot of random letters. I think must be too thin or the connectors have something wrong so once it gets bend just a little bit, you type the letter "n" and types "7~a" sometimes Activates the "Enter Key"... i don’t know but i have connected and disconnected twice the connectors and as long as is on a flat surface and as long as i don’t press the keys too hard it works good. If the letters get pressed more than what you have to, types something different. Something is wrong with the keyboard. I have a Laptop Raiser and now i can't type like i used to. Some keys give other letters, i don't know why. Unfortunately is a pain in the "grass" to take it apart and send it back, i wish i had the time to at least get refunded something. As i said, it works but i think it needs to be built in a better way...i don't know, i've never had that issue before with other keyborards. BUT, remember, you get what you pay for. The original genuine Keyboard was like $90 so, do i regret of not paying the higher amount?, yes, but is done now.

I wasn't expecting to work that fine, easy to install, retro lights works perfect. This keyboard saves my Toshiba Laptop for retirement!
