Excellent value and function. Battery lasts about 30 min, depending on your driving. Nothing has broken with about 5 hours of use. Great steering angle and weight for RTR entry level. Small fun in 100 sq. Ft.

Way beyond my expectation. Got for my 11 year old as an intro to drifting rc. Really good quality, easy to assemble and easy to go after a short charge. Battery seems to last a while despite it being made of metal and having decent weight. He loves it, the gyro works good and it’s quick to get the hang of. He loves it so far, will be buying another so we can drift together. Tons of fun for what I consider a great price.

I am very new to the RC car hobby. I work at a recreation center and I'm always looking for something that the kids would like to do at the center. We started with model cars, and then I remembered that I had an RC car as a kid and liked playing with it. I ordered 6 cheaper RC cars which ended up being a hit with the kids, and has got me started in the hobby. I'm not the best person to give an in-depth review about every part and wire of this RC car, and all I have is the first 6 cheaper ($14 per car) RC cars to compare this one to. I ordered this RC car because I wanted to see how well the more expensive RC cars function. This RC car arrived in it's own case and packed nicely in foam. I immediately noticed the weight of the car and that the body was metal and not plastic like the others. The design of this car closely resembles a real car, and you can see and feel that the quality is above average. The controller is easy to use and takes 2 AA batteries to operate and control the car. There are 3 buttons on the controller that control the lights and they allow you reverse the way you control the car (pulling the trigger makes the cat go in reverse instead of forward, and you can switch how you turn L/R). There are a some issues and a couple things I expected to be included that weren't. I have some issues with controlling the car but that is due to me still figuring out the controller and I'm still learning how to drift. With that said, there are some issues that are not due to me still learning. The car sounds like something is grinding when you turn, my guess is it has something to do with the weight of the metal body pushing down on something. Another thing I'm not a fan of and might be due to the weight of the body is the speed, I thought this car would be faster. The car also doesn't respond right away when you try to reverse, it takes a few pushes of the trigger before it will reverse. Overall, I do like this RC car and it seems like a good quality car, but it is overpriced in my opinion. At this price I expected to receive at least an extra battery and a set of rubber tires like I did with the $14 cars I purchased. I also feel it should be faster and not have grinding sounds and issues with reversing at this price so I did take a star.

This RC car is fast, responsive, and surprisingly durable for the price. The battery life lasts long enough for several fun runs, and charging is quick and easy. The controls are intuitive, making it enjoyable for both kids and adults. Overall, it delivers great performance and value. I’m very happy with the purchase

I drift in real life and my car has been broken awhile. I cant believe how much fun I had with this car. Drifts very well if you know what you are doing and do a little bit of tuning. Has adjustable camber and toe and does make a little bit of a difference. The r34 and the Porsche have metal bodys and are nice and heavy and actually feel pretty high quality. The lights and turning signals and brake lights all work and are pretty cool. Very happy with my purchase and I actually bought 2 more. So I mow have the r34, miata, and the rx7. Highly recommend.
