Great oil at a reasonable price
This oil is manufactured be Warren oil. They also make Walmart's brand. It is the very same oil. Lab testing shows that this oil is so close to Mobile One it is indiscernible. It really does not make sense to pay over $10 more for a brand name. I did notice that the Walmart version has two, one rated for 10,000 and another rated for 20,000 miles. Amazon does not give any mileage rating, however, Amazons price is the same as Walmarts price for the 20,000 mile version. I am obsessive about oil chg intervals so I change mine every 2500 miles or 3months which ever comes first. I know 2500 miles is quite unnecessary, but I do it anyway. My Mazda 3 is almost ten yrs old and everything still works. I absolutely have not had any problems of any kind with this vehicle and it still runs like when it was new. Totally recommend this motor oil.

Fantastic alternative to Mobil 1 or expensive OEM synthetic motor oils.
I have been a fan of Mobil 1 oil (such as the Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 Full Synthetic , and for previous vehicles used Mobil 1 0W-40 Full...

Excellent! Highly recommend!
I have regularly used Full Synthetic oils for awhile now. I was hesitant to switch from Mobil1, so I searched on some reviews and tests done on this oil. Everything looked good, so I moved forward. Here are a few reviews and tests: Project Farm https://youtu.be/a9DWGtXpYUc and Scotty Kilmer https://youtu.be/Ye-5EyrwkOQ The API "donut" shows it has been thoroughly tested in ways that neither of these two are able to do and passed. I have now been using this oil for over a year. I use 5w30 in my 2007 Land Cruiser (4.7 L v8), my 2011 Ford E250 EXT (5.4 L v8), and my mom's 2008 Lexus GX 470 (4.7 L v8). I use the 0w20 in my daughter's 2009 Camry Hybrid (2.4 L 4cyl hybrid). I change the oil and filter ~every 5000 miles (yes, I know you are supposed to be able to go 7000 miles... I'm just can't bring myself to do that. I was a stickler for 3000 mile oil changes with conventional.) The oil goes in clean and comes out dirty, just like it should. I have never found any filings or metal flakes - or any other indicators of excessive wear. It is REALLY hard to beat the price on this, and I am well pleased with the way it operates. I do not plan to change anytime soon. BTW, you should search for some testing on YouTube for oil filters, as well. Wix, Napa (made by Wix), and Toyota seem to me to be top notch. I've never had an issue with them.

Great Value, Reliable Performance
This Amazon Basics Full Synthetic Motor Oil - 0W-20 is fantastic! I change my oil every 10,000 miles, and I’ve had no issues with the engine. It keeps everything running smoothly, and the performance is just as good as more expensive brands. The value is unbeatable, especially for full synthetic oil. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable option!

Incredible Value
Almost unbelievable price for 6qts of full synthetic, Dexos compliant 5w-30 oil. I buy fleet cases of filters and can now do my own oil changes for $25 in about 15 minutes. Absolutely no reason not to change the oil every 3k miles (oil life on car's computer usually at 25% remaining at 3k). Think about that for a minute. If I keep my car for 100,000 miles/10 years, the difference between 3k (33 changes) and 4k (25 changes) oil change intervals is 8 changes (+$200 total or +$20/year). Amazon, please offer synthetic 20w-50 at this price point!!! Edit: after running for 3,000 miles on my regular oil change interval I'm even more impressed with this oil. Engine ran perfectly and did not consume a measurable amount of oil. Drain oil was brown and not black and still very slick feeling. The real proof was on the magnetic drain plug and bottom of the oil drain pan. Nothing metallic. Almost unbelievably clean. As the person who has done over a dozen oil changes on this vehicle and specifically looks for these sorts of things this is very impressive. This oil could have easily gone 1,000-2,000 more miles. Again, at this price, no need to though. Edit #2: unfortunately Amazon has raised the price considerably (50%+) since posting original review. It's still a good value but no longer a great value.

You should use it if you like to save money
I've been using this oil for a couple years in my Dodge Durango STX. 3.6 liter v-6. No issues, saving money. I like the auto ship program, I don't need to remember to order the oil. I like that the oil come in a box with 6 quarts, same as what the Durango needs. No buying a 5 quart jug then having to buy separate and expensive quart. I try to keep a box (of 6 quarts) on hand at all times so when the oil change is needed I'm ready to to go. I put about 25K miles a year, so I've done roughly 10 oil changes with this stuff. While your at it, order a good filter, I like WIX. Don't cheap out on the filter or push the mileage between changes. I go 5k, it makes it easy to remember when to change the oil. I also keep a piece of the filter box with the number on it and write the date and miles, then toss in the car folder to refer to incase I forget the mileage when I last changed the oil.
