This might be weird but can u sew it and it hold the stitching well?

I sewed mine to curtains for my skoolie and it worked great the thread wanted to slip through foam so I had to make a few extra knots on end but overall worked well

It is probably half the weight. It is very effective, very light, thinner than the bubble types, and can be used in many ways. I use it as windshield covers, either inside or outside, for our car and I even use it for a very effective insole and canting shim for my ski and snowboarding boots.
