Got this stair chair to bring my MIL in/out of the back door and up/down 3 steps. It was a breeze. She sat comfortably and relaxed and it kept her from having to exert her energy and risk a fall. Very sturdy! Arrives assembled. Shipped quickly.

EMS had something like this and I ordered one. It's working fine as expected. The price to next one (power) up is steep so here is some suggestions for improvements with smaller impact on the price: 1) Bigger (in diameter) rear wheels 2) Arm rests that (could be raised/!lowered) 3) Rails to slide down the stairs would buy another especially with one or more of the improvements above if priced reasonably.

Works well, we bought it for the purpose of taking our mother from the front door to the car. Though it is a bit on the heavier side, but we just have to carry it on 4 steps outside the main door. So works fine for us.

We found it easier than expected to use/lift. Unfortunately, the staircase we needed it for has a fairly tight spiral in it so we had to return the chair. Would have been happy to keep and use this had we been able to safely navigate the bend.

It's not the most comfortable seat but it allows me to visit friends who have stairs which makes it amazing. My "carriers" said it was easy to hold, grip and lift. Wheels roll smoothly.

Wish I had purchased a while ago. Mother-in-law broke her ankle. This works perfect for me and wife to take her up and down stairs

Perfect for my purpose .. it serves my need for moving elderly persons in small elevators and stairs as well. The only modification needs is provide some cussion to the seating area due to hard and uncomfort metal pipes.

This chair it is very well built and can save you a fortune by avoiding expensive ambulance service. You will need two strong people to use it.
