Perfect fit for our needs, ordered a second one
Educate yourself about what you are getting. This kayak is for calm water only! Maiden voyage at Lake Maloya, Sugarite, NM was a success. We kakayed for 2 decades on sit ontop Yak Boards by Ocean Kayak and still use them, so here is a comparison. We added this one to take the 13 year old grandson, so we wanted one that is light weight and stores and transports easily. I have been watching this kayak online and like the improvements to the 2023 model. This 60-something grandma can assemble it easily and it takes just a few minutes. Leverage and technique are more important then strength. Not quite as stable in the water as the sit ontop, but easy to get used to. Once I adjusted the rudder depth, it was just as manuverable as the yak board. The seat is comfortable enough for a couple of hours on the water, but I would add a towel for a longer ride. We have the upgraded seats in the yak board so we are spoiled there. I thought I would miss the integrated cup holder, but a water bottle stays put in the space between the seat and the side wall. I was impressed with how dry it was inside. Yes, some water splashes inside, but much drier than yak board. A ziplock baggie with snacks and drinks would work well (we snack on our rides, that is half the fun). We keep our phones and keys in life vest pockets. (A lanyard style pouch would work also) We put in and out on a concrete boat ramp, which caused a few scuff marks on the bottom. With the thickness of the plastic I doubt it will have any effect long term and is normal wear. We have it on the yak board also. The foot rest seems a little weak and bent a little, we many need to replace it long term, but it worked well enough. The convenience is amazing, 28 lbs vs 40 on the yak board, and much easier to transport to the shore line and on the highway especially. Grandson had fun in it also with no problems. We liked it well enough that we ordered a second one immediately so we can take the 17 year old also. We also intend to take these instead of the yak boards on camping trips for just the 2 of us, just incase we want to kayak without taking the hard plastic ones. It is amazingly convenient to just have in the pickup. The paddle (taken apart) fits into the rolled up kayak. Overall, this is a great option for a relaxed day on the water, as long as you understand the compromise of practicality over professional performance (performance is great, just not racing quality) for a great price. Great for beginners and those of us who like calm water.

Compact, lightweight, portable, well-made, and reasonably priced.
Compact, lightweight, portable, well-made, and reasonably priced. It's not hard to set up, IF you watch the instructional video. An instruction card would be nice, but the existence of the instructional videos means that it's unnecessary. It floats, and gets me from point A to point B on the water, without sending me for an undesired swim. I can't comment on long term durability, but it's held up well so far. For waterfowl hunting, fishing, and backpacking this is an excellent, and very competitively priced, option - ~2/3 the price of the next cheapest folding Kayak I could find on a cursory search, and comparable even to the cheapest hard shell option at my local sporting goods store.

Great kayak except stupid foot rest bar
Easy to assemble, have the how to video next to you the whole time! Plan to pause and rewind a lot the first couple of times!!! Very stable and no water got in while riding. I knock off one star because the foot rest is useless BS. Seat isn’t too bad, I’ll get an extra cushion going forward but footrest useless, plan on your legs lying flat in the kayak (which I’m not a fan of, thinking about shoving old blankets in it so my feet have something to rest on)

Fun, yet compact. First setup was interesting though.
Turned out to be a great purchase. The only difficulty was unfolding and refolding it for the first time setup. Yes, there are YouTube videos out there to show you how to unfold and refold to set up, but they've changed the design a little in terms of some braces and the seat attachments from what was in the videos I watched. However, once past that first initial setup, it became easier to unfold and fold with each use. You want a helper during that first setup as the plastic doesn't have any creases in it yet and it takes some muscle while somebody else hold things steady.

Still not too sure....
I will have to update over time, im still not sure how i fully like this kayak. I will start to say that i do love the way it handles in the water, better than any "portable/inflatable." kayak i have used before. Another thing is the take down and set up is not too bad, the folds are still pretty stiff as I have only used it 4 times so it is hard to latch and I am fairly strong. The biggest downside that i have been dealing with is the caving in of the sides, i have tried this kayak with the factory seat (even though veryyyy uncomfortable) and i made sure to position it correctly and the sides still caved in ( I am also way under the weight limit) I have also used with a stadium seat (per other users recommendations) it makes the kayak way more comfortable but still am having issues with the sides. I want to love it but the safety concern with the sides caving in makes me not want to take it on long trips.

Not worth it
Not worth the money spent . Doesn’t fold together easily doesn’t fold back together easily . Latches are hard to get latched and they already look as if the are going to brake The adjustable feet thing bungee broke after one use . This is no a $400 dollar product

Fun boat!
It’s been a blast! I now used it maybe 10 times. Twice professionally for my job (that was somewhat unexpected). I was caught in some rough water for a bit and it did a great job. A bit surprised (happily).
