Great surround sound!!
I’ve only had it a week or so, but up to now, very pleased. Last we watched the first Greenland film, with all the rumbling sounds of falling asteroid shrapnel hitting the earth and destroying anything in their path. The sound was brilliant and it was so effective, we had to turn it down a bit, to avoid annoying the neighbours. Thoroughly recommend.

Hisense has built a reputation for delivering products that over-perform for its price and the AX5125H soundbar adds to that perception. I purchased this to replace a 2.1 soundbar, looking to match the upgrade I made to my TV seven months ago. A 5.1.2, 9-speaker sound system that puts out a total of 500 watts and a decoder that is compatible with all Dolby codecs including ATMOS; DTS codecs including DTS: X and all other surround sound codecs at this price point is unheard of. The closest competitor that had the up-firing speakers in the soundbar was almost double the price. The soundbar itself has a six speaker array (Full Range *5, tweeter *1) with right, two center (including the tweeter), left and two up-firing drivers that delivers a robust sound with very clear dialog courtesy of the dual-speaker center channel. A wireless 6.5-inch 180 watt subwoofer gives good bass while not being overpowering like other systems. I watched Star Wars: The Last Jedi (Dolby ATMOS) and the bass performed very well. The system is rounded out by two 30 watt wireless rear speakers give this system a true 5.1 surround system, not one that is created virtually by a 2.1 soundbar. How does it sound? It does a very good job of filling my living room with sound especially in Dolby ATMOS mode. While it does lack up-firing rear speakers, using the front firing drivers on the soundbar, Dolby ATMOS is still very effective. I haven't cranked the volume past "30" but at that point the system was rocking my moderately sized living room. I'm sure there is a lot more there if you want it. I am moderately hard of hearing (wear hearing aids) but I can clearly hear everything the system is putting out. Setup was a breeze. Because the satellite speakers employ Bluetooth 5.3 all that was needed for the sub woofer and the rear speakers was a close by electrical outlet - no wires run from the sub woofer to the rear speakers in some systems I have seen that would have limited my being able to use that system. Once everything is plugged in and I connected the system to my 65-inch Hisense U7K TV using HDMI eARC, all I had to do was turn everything on with a single remote (because I have a Hisense TV, the soundbar integrated to the TV remote automatically), it Bluetooth paired automatically and that was it. Adjustments are limited to Treble, Bass and Volume. Three surround modes are Off (who would want to turn it off???); Pure (most natural sounding); Pro (which pushes more sound to the rear speakers). The Pure mode works best for me because it delivers exactly the sound the TV is sending without any compression or enhancement. There are seven EQ modes available - Movie/Music/News/Night/Sport/Game/AI Mode. I chose AI mode which has the soundbar select the best mode for the signal it is receiving and adjusts automatically. That can only be accessed from the soundbar remote and not the TV remote. If you would rather choose an EQ for each type of sound you prefer, they can all be found using the TV remote if you have a Hisense TV. They are effective in enhancing to the content. While there are more expensive soundbars that surely outperform the AX 5125H, the cost vs. performance that Hisense has packed into this very affordable sound system is difficult to match for someone who is looking for better sound performance at a price that won't break the bank. I would highly recommend buying this soundbar.

El sonido es potente para películas y videojuegos, la música se escucha bien aunque no con la suficiente potencia para un lugar grande. Necesitarás varios contactos de luz ya que la barra, el boofer y cada bocina trasera necesita estar conectado a la energía eléctrica.

I rarely write reviews but felt I had too on this one.. Hisense continues to deliver quality products with amazing features way under the other competitors.. For the same features other brands were much more expensive so I went with this Hisense soundbar combo to go with my Hisense TV.. The TV I have it paired with is the Hisense 65 inch U7N which is also an amazing TV with a ton a features for half the price of its competitors.. But this sound bar combo is Amazing.. Again Hisense continues to deliver the same quality as other brands at a fraction of the cost at this price point.. It sounds amazing.. Now this isn’t a high end set up like a Klipsch surround sound set up which will cost you 1500 plus.. That’s not comparable.. But it is comparable to similar sound bar set ups with the same features like Atmos support etc at a fraction of the price that some of the bigger brands LG, Sony, Samsung, offer.. Bedroom or average size living rooms and this soundbar combo is great.. The sound is amazing with Atmos.. I had no problems setting it up and it exceeded my expectations.. It gets plenty loud with a lot of base and clarity.. The subwoofer does a fine a fine job.. It has multiple different EQ settings and The only thing I wish it had was a little bit more control over those EQ settings.. But again at this price it’s hard to complain.. They sound great and I’m very pleased with them.. They also don’t feel cheap and have a sleek design that should go well with all set ups in any room.. I highly recommend them.. So far this is my second Hisense purchase in the last couple of months and I’m very satisfied with the products they are offering.. Again Hisense is delivering products with the same features as they’re competitors but at a much lower price point.. I use to buy All LG products but they are just getting too expensive and when you have a brand that is becoming known for delivering the same quality at a much lower price it’s extremely hard to justify going with any other brand.. If you haven’t tried them out yet because your skeptical don’t be.. Just remember if you go with a new Hisense TV to pair with this soundbar to adjust the picture setting to your liking or get it calibrated before you write it off.. Most modern televisions need adjusting out of the box and they are no different.. I personally did not do a calibration and manually played around with my settings and the picture is amazing especially with 4k and Dolby vision content..

First, I would say that the Hisense AX5125H sound bar is a great buy for the money. It delivers great sound and voice clarity for TV and movies. However, it is not perfect, and its performance could be better in many areas. The good: - Even with the subwoofer and surround speakers, it has a fairly small profile and can fit about anywhere. I have it in a large living room paired with a 75" TV, but it could just as easily fit into a dorm room or bedroom. - Easy to hook up. Even if you wall mount the bar and surrounds (which I did not), installation is a breeze. No wires to sub and surrounds, just power plugs. So you will have to have outlets available to plug in the sound bar, sub and both surrounds. 4 power plugs. No speaker wire. Pairing was automatic and effortless for me. Much, much easier than trying to hook up your average home theater system with AV receiver. - I have it hooked up to a Hisense Roku TV. Roku setup was automatic and painless. It hooked up through HDMI ARC, so I can control the sound bar volume with the TV remote, and most of the sound bar settings (EQ mode and surround mode) are accessible through the TV settings. - It is loud. You're not going to rattle any windows with a 6.5" sub, but it puts out enough to let you know it's there. The sound bar sounds like a component audio system when cranked up. For me this sound bar is replacing a Pioneer VSX 1020 7.1 channel receiver with 7 speakers and a sub. The Hisense AX5125H doesn't have quite the depth and punch of the home audio receiver and speaker system, but it keeps up with the volume very well and is distortion free. - Vocal clarity is great. I can hear dialogue in movies, TV shows, you name it. Much better than the TV speakers and even better than the home theater receiver with dedicated center channel. And now for the bad: - It is very minimal in terms of tweaking. There are 2 surround modes: Pure and Pro. The Pro gives you a little more volume to the surround speakers. That's about it. There are 7 EQ modes - Movie, Music, Game, News, Sports, Night, and AI, but you won't be wowed by the difference between them. I generally keep mine on Movie or AI. - No room correction. That's right, there is no way to tweak the level of the individual speakers to get the sound bar tuned to your room. All you get are basic bass and treble controls. I get that this is a midrange budget soundbar, but still. - No app control. Yes you need to use the sound bar remote. As I mentioned earlier, Roku TV setup will give you access to most of the sound bar's settings but not all. I don't see why app control is that big of a deal to implement. It is 2024, and most of the major players have an app for their soundbars (and room correction too). - While it is nice to have an readable display on the front of the soundbar instead of an array of LEDs, it is kind of annoying when you can't get it to tell you anything. By default, it will tell you the name of the source (eg ARC). That is what it will say most of the time: the input source. It will temporarily flash the volume if you turn it up or down. I would like to know what the source audio is - DTS, Atmos, Dolby Surround, PCM, etc. However, all I get is a quick, scrolling "Dolby Surround" message when starting live TV or streaming apps. Then it is back to "ARC". I find it maddening. The AV receiver was so much better for information. - Atmos is dependent on the source. Maybe it is my TV, but I can't get anything but "Dolby Surround" to show up. Haven't heard anything with Atmos sound yet, but I hear it is great. - Music streaming via Bluetooth is underwhelming. Quality is better with WiFi, and the better sound bars use it. AV receiver was much better here for music listening. I am also not impressed with the Music EQ setting. Music listening is okay with this sound bar but could be much better. All in all, the Hisense AX5125H is not a bad buy. If you've got (a lot) more money, it might be worth looking at the higher end sound bars from Bose, Sonos, Sony, and Samsung. They all have features that this one is lacking as well as better sound and customization. For around the same cost or less I would also recommend looking at the Onn 5.1.2 Atmos sound bar and the Ultimea Poseidon. I am not disappointed in this purchase, but it feels like I will be saving money to try to get something better in the future.
