It was released on August 31, 1987, nearly five years after Jackson's previous studio album, Thriller. Bad was recorded during the first half of 1987. The lyrical themes on the record relate to media bias, paranoia, filial films. ing, romance, self-improvement. The album is widely regarded as having cemented Jackson's status as one of the most successful artists of the 1980s, as well as enhancing his solo career and being one of the best musical projects of his career. 90年代に入ったらEPICさんがこの名盤をこっそりと原曲から様々なリミックスに交換したのです。はっきり言いますと： 01. 「Bad」シングル・ヴァージョンになっています。金管楽器がほぼなくなっています 02. 「The Way You Make Me Feel」アウトロにマイケルの即興ヴォーカルが追加されています 08. 「I Just Can't Stop Loving You」シングル・ヴァージョンになっています。かつてイントロに語られたセリフがなくなっています 09. 「Dirty Diana」シングル・ヴァージョンになっています。より早くフェイドアウトします 10. 「Smooth Criminal」かつてイントロに左チャンネルに聴こえた息音がなくなっています。ベースもキックドラムもより重く聴こえます 元々のヴァージョンを聴きたい方は「32・8P-200／4988010212056」盤を買ってください。 上記のリミックスを聴きたい方は「ESCA 5409／4988010540920」盤にしてください。 以上です。

Bien mieux que le CD 192 kHz, 24 bits HD de HD Tracks. La pochette du LP est excellente ! Fortement recommandé pour les amoureux de Michael Jackson et du vinyle. EN Magnificent sound and pressing. Excellent purchase. Details of voices, treble, stereo image and soundstage, and the bass is AWESOME! Much better than the CD 192 kHz, 24 bit HD from HD Tracks. The LP cover is excellent! Highly recommended for lovers of Michael Jackson and vinyl.

Pretty much the end of the incredible peak of MJ, this one is kinda under-appreciated. The second side is all pop brilliance. I love this 3-lp run MJ put together, and I grabbed this for $20 here. No brainer.
