I recently purchased the 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter, and it has been a great addition to my daily routine. The pedometer is incredibly easy to use—just pull out the tab to activate it, clip it on, and start walking. There's no need for any setup or connections to smartphones, which makes it perfect for those who prefer a straightforward device. The 3D Tri-Axis Sensor Technology ensures accurate step counting regardless of how you wear it. The large display is easy to read, and the included clip and lanyard offer multiple wearing options. The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 12 months with an auto-sleep function to preserve power. If you're looking for a very basic step counter, this is it. How basic? No app, no heart/pulse/respiration/etc. monitoring, no clock, no route planner, no training tips, no complicated "how to measure your standard stride/step" set-up, etc. And that's why I chose THIS unit. I just want a lightweight step counter and that's what I now have with my 3D FitBud. The FitBud keeps very similar and faithful track of my steps when compared with my cph app. Easy to use. All you do is activate the battery, slip the FitBud to your jeans, shirt, whatever, and start walking! I LOVE that the FitBud snoozes when I am not walking and promptly resumes counting when I start walking again. No need to reset or tap to wake it up before resuming a walk. At the end of my day, I log the steps recorded on the FitBud and then clear the day's steps by holding the reset button for a few seconds until the screen clears. Next day, I pick it up and clip it, and start my day's steps counting again. The only downside (slight) is that the lens of the FitBud is somewhat easy to scratch. I brushed against something on the very first day of use and found a scratch across the lens. Now, I clip the FitBud on my jeans pocket with the lens side inside the pocket. Problem solved. The FitBud comes in a number of great colors. The modest price of the FitBud is so great that you can even have a wardrobe of FBs to suit your color preference of the day! Easy to use, lightweight, accurate, color choices, great price. Great buy.

All I needed was a good pedometer to count my steps and this does the trick. It is very simple to use. For first use, all I had to do was remove the piece of plastic that kept the battery ready to use. It came with a detachable lanyard so when I have no waistband or pocket to clip it too, I can just reattach the cord, slip it over my head, and keep counting those steps. It can be removed from the clip. It resets with a long press of a button on back.

Simple step counter, I got a strap to attach it to my ankle and it works like a charm. Not 100% accurate as various non-step movements can add to the step count like bouncing your leg, riding in a car, roller coasters, etc. The button to reset is not difficulty to press but not so easy that it'll go off accidentally. I do like that it just counts my steps and nothing else, I have a fancy (cheap) smart watch that comes with all the bells and whistles but requires an app, regular charging, and a phone connection. Sometimes I prefer the simpler option, and this is perfect for that. Highly recommend if the smart watch style isn't your jam.

I like simple and effective . This is just that! No media configuration required ! Just pull tab and go . It’s a very sturdy well made gadget . I love more than the rather more expensive ones . No digital tracking is a bonus !

My high-tech FitBit Versa was a piece of garbage. Died in 6 months -- no reason -- and during the time it did work, it was endlessly buggy. In the end, I hated it and decided that rather than invest once again in an expensive smartwatch to track my steps, I'd go low-tech. I'm so glad I did. This little step counter does nothing else -- just counts your steps. It won't tell you the weather; give you "feedback" or "encouragement" and, it can't steal your personal information either. But, what it does do is WORK. Now, whether or not it is accurate is an open question. I have a step counter on my smartphone too. And, if I use both at the same time, I get pretty much the same step count reading. I've also done a low-tech test at home. I walk around the house counting the steps I take and then looking at the counter and seeing if they are close-to-the same reading. There can be a variation of around 10-15 steps, but for the most part -- and most of the time -- they are pretty close. In short: This is a nifty, easy-to-use, small device that you can clip-on or wear around your neck. If you drop it or submerge it in water and it goes tits up -- you can replace it for around $22 dollars. If you don't need the bells and whistles -- this is for you!
