Recommended for anyone with photosensitivity
The screen is pretty, the mode switches are smooth and the image is very easy on the eyes. I'm a big fan of the NXTPAPER/NXTVISION stuff because of vision issues and seizures. It's very easy on the eyes to read e-books on this. It's got plenty of memory and runs smoothly for my needs. The camera pictures are pretty and the camera is highly functional. I got a wallet style case to protect the screen and make it last as long as possible. I activated it on Verizon with simple sim swap (no visit to the store) and transferring the necessary stuff via wi-fi. ------------------------ REVIEW UPDATES I originally complained about extremely poor sound quality over Bluetooth/Using Earbuds : After thoroughly troubleshooting the issue I found the root cause to be related to a Dolby DTS setting called 3D Boom Sound. You can toggle this off in the settings menu and restore sound quality : Settings > Sound and Vibration > 3D Boom Sound > Toggle OFF Screen durability concerns : This device has a frosted glass screen to reduce glare and eye strain. The best way to preserve the screen's life is to use a wallet style case that completely covers the screen while it is riding in your pocket or purse. If you scrub the screen against debris / objects enough it's going to wear out. If the frosted glass wears off putting on an aftermarket screen protector is the best way to restore visibility at the cost of increased glare. Difficult gestures : This phone has a steep learning curve when it comes to learning which gestures produce specific actions like pulling up the multi-tasking screen / gemini AI app / notifications menu vs settings etc. It took me a couple of weeks and some trial and error and practice to get better at this stuff. Notifications : I am still having trouble getting quick notifications from my security camera app. The notifications of motion detection only pop up after opening the app. If I figure this issue out I'll post another review update.

It's great value, waiting for the 70 model next
The screen is awesome, the camera is just fine under good light conditions, it doesn't feel laggy. Fully compatible, battery life is awesome. The sound is ok. Storage is good. Having a 3.5 aux is SO GOOD! It isn't as uncomfortable granted the big screen size, not sure how they did it. I recommend using a transparent phone case.

Good budget Phone! Get's the job done at a 1/4 of the cost of other phones.
I am enjoying my new phone. I had the TCL 10L, this TCL 60XE NXTPAPER 5G definitely feels like an upgrade. A few things that I wish were better... The phone ring volume isn't very loud. There is distortion when on a call, both on the earpiece & on speaker phone. The camera is OK. Low light is not good at all for a good picture, mainly when taking a "selfie", from my experience. I wish it would charge faster than it does, however it isn't horrible. I didn't think I would like the fingerprint scan button, but I'm finding that I like it better than the 10L. I like the size of the phone. I like that it has a 256GB storage size. (on the model I have) The speaker volume for playing videos is plenty loud. Over all, I would recommend this phone. For the price, it does everything I need it to do + some. I've added 3 photos, with good lighting, less lighting & even less lighting.... Enjoy LOL! :D I would give it 5 stars, but for the distorted audio while on phone calls.

So Far - Very Good
I am loving this phone! I recently moved from a Google Pixel 6A to this because of the 6A battery issues. I was able to get this model on Prime Days for around $200. Pros: - Pretty close to a stock Android experience - Matte texture screen - enhances the "paper" effect and does nor show fingerprints - Good battery life - similar to the Pixel before the battery update - Runs Android Auto just fine - Lighter weight than the Pixel 6A - Multi mode display - Standard color, Color Paper, Black and White Paper, Max Ink - Very loud speakers - Headphone jack - Wifi and Bluetooth work great - Phone features - including wifi calling work great on T-Mobile Cons: - Physically larger than the Pixel 6A More notes: - The only features I miss from the Pixel are the smaller device size and the screen embedded fingerprint reader. - The "paper" features are wonderful for people who do a lot of reading. - The Max Ink mode boosts battery life to DAYS but has limited app use options and messes up my default launcher settings (Niagra) when I use it. I will use this mode when traveling to extend my battery life but not for everyday reading. - The camera/lenses seem more than adequate - The Pixel was better but also a $500 phone. I hope I'm still this happy a year from now :)
