How big is a nugget size? -Solgar 5000 mcg B-12

The nugget is not large at all. It fits easily under the tongue. Although I no longer take this product because my B-12 level is fine, when I did, I used to put it under my tongue and sometimes forget about it.

Is this tablet scored? Can it be split in half?

It is not scored. Very small would be impossible to split accurately.

hello.. is this product sublingual. its says so on the bottle but not on description. want to make sure before ordering.

I last ordered these over nine years ago, so it is hard to remember about them but I believe they are fairly hard pellets. I've been using Country Life small sublingual lozenges since then. Instructions for the Country Life brand now say to chew before swallowing, so perhaps you could chew these up also. I think this the act of chewing them and spreading it around her mouth and then swallowing it, it gets absorbed in the mouth, throat, and esophagus. I would just not drink anything for at least five minutes after chewing it up and swallowing it.

For the maker. Seems some confusion is about whether this is fully absorbed sublingually OR sublingually disolved and then swallowed. Which is it?

The only way B-12 is effective is if it is sublingually absorbed or injected. The Solgar Methylcobalamin is one of the best sources of B-12 and is absorbed sublingually. Place the table under your tongue - I find is the best way for it to be readily absorbed. The methylcobalamin form of B-12 is superior to other sources. I am a nutritional therapist and I recommend this product to all of my clients over 40.
