I don't know whether the brand name filter is any better for the money, but these are a good fit and look like good quality. I know I'll change the filter more often if it's affordable, so for me that's part of the trade off.

Been buying these for a couple of years and they save us so much money! They do fit snug but worth it!

I decided to try an after market filter instead of the expensive blue air filters. The Ganteny filter fits my 203 slim perfectly, no gaps. Then I lay a thin carbon filter (purchased separately) on top and it's good to go.

Works well. Much less expensive than the official filters.
