Is it made in the USA?

The "Dremel" brand, even though owned by Bosh, also is built in China. Not many tools are made in the USA, and it's stupid to even ask "Is it made in the USA?" to quote: "Dremel is a popular brand of rotary tools that are widely available in the United States. However, many people do not know that the brand is made in China. The majority of the tools are made in China, but the company also manufactures some tools in the United States. Dremel has been making rotary tools in China for over 30 years and it is one of the biggest manufacturers of rotary tools in the world."

Can it carve in epoxy resin?

Looking at the list of included items and seeing there's a resin cutting disk, I'd have to say yes.

has anyone had issues with it not turning on?

I am having difficulty with mine turning on.

The booklet included with this tool does indicate that they make a 220V model but this listing is for the US-voltage.

Very practical... my husband loved it. He wants to use it all the time; it's extremely practical and very safe to use. It's incredible how much time and money you can save by having this product at home.

Great tool at a really good price!

Super solid tool at half the price of other name brands. I have many hours on this tool and it works very good. Fits well in the hand and has just the right weigh to it. Not to heavy solid build.

Adequate

I ordered this to replace my 40 year old "popular brand" tool. Out of the box I plugged it in and it tripped the ground fault breaker on the bench. I reset the breaker and tried again - no problem at low speed. The speed control was stuck so I pushed it harder and after working it the speed control is fine. I had trouble getting tools into the collet the first few times, but it's all working out. After my first little task it's working fine - just had some startup issues. It's not a premium piece but for the price it seems to be fine. I'm an occasional user and I'm OK with this tool.

Tons of extra accessories

This is a perfect tool I love how it comes with all the extra and necessary accessories and a carry case to keep everything neat and organized would really recommend

Worth the pricing for ocassioanl use.

Comes with a lot of attachment options. If you plan to use this everyday probably not the ideal tool, but if you use it once in a while like me its perfectly fine. It gets the job done. Nice kit for the price. The tool itself has a lot of power and it not that heavy. It is loud though

Only 15 months occasional use

Started shorting out a couple months after warrant my expired. Only used every couple weeks to grind diwn dig nails. So little use. Now it just stops working then starts again. Even on initial start up so nit hot or over use. Ill find another brand
