I travel internationally and sometimes 3 flights in one day, so to keep everything together I purchased these straps. I got neon green ones to find them easily (everyone has black soft sided luggage) so I shouldn’t have trouble finding my bag, and hopefully they will stay together.

Good buckles that should resist the rigorous baggage handling. The straps are thinner than expected. Hope they last the rigors of sliding along during baggage handling. The strap color is bright and should be easy to spot during baggage handling.

Bought the four pack of the luggage straps for a 1500 mile series of flights. We used one strap on each of two hard side suitcase and only one made it to the first destination. At first glance the straps seem sturdy with a double clasp that clearly is an advantage in the luggage handling zoo of airports. While we won't know exactly happened to the strap on one bag, it was not attached to the bag. Tamper stickers were still affixed to the bags so they were not opened. The strap was just gone. The strap on the second bag was still attached and in good shape. It is hard to fathom what happened to the missing strap. Did it break? Was it removed? Who knows. Also, I bought the luggage tags for the same trip based on reviews and was happy with their durability with a silicone case for the tag and a stainless cable for attaching to the suitcase. and would recommend them. After an original 3 star review because of problem listed above, having an excellent customer service response, have updated rating to 5 stars! 10/26/22 UPDATE: Being true to their reputation, Untethered replaced the lost/broken luggage strap mentioned above with not just the original, but added a second. Class company. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

If you travel long enough you will be collecting a destroyed suitcase from baggage claim. Zippers are the first to break and these straps help to avoid that and keep your luggage contents secure. Plus they are easy to spot. They are worth every penny. A must have travel item.

One strap arrived broken. The rest of the straps worked. I understand the buckle connection needs to be strong, but it was much harder than expected to unsnap. It was also a bit tricky to tighten the strap enough so it didn’t slide during transit. We ended up using these once for an international trip, but haven’t used them again since then.

These worked great for our suitcases, but even more impressed by their surprising usefulness in keeping ice packs together after knee surgery! Adjusted the straps and doubled up around my knee - works great!
