The best of Oneplus and Android!!! Having owned a OnePlus 12r, and just Android phones since 2013 (Droid Maxx being my first) . This is the phone for tech people and just anyone in general. Checklist of what I like and don't like below. Likes -Beautiful 6.8 screen that can have a fixed 120hz refresh rate, color reproduction on the OLED screen is top notch with plenty of customization options in terms of accuracy. Has Ceramic shield for durability. -I love the aquatouch, I have used it in the steam room or when working out and I can actually decently type with the screen wet. (IP 69 ensures I can use in high temp Sauna without issue) -Oxygen OS I love the layout and customization I love the global search at the bottom of the icons yes it reeks iPhone but I like the feature -Battery life is outstanding although on par with the 12r, quick charging as well. -Love the included charging brick which both Samsung and Apple no longer include. -Camera is probably the best oneplus has ever done. Hasselblad partnership has helped OnePlus up their game. -Snap Dragon Elite processor, is just top notch performing if you want to do gaming this phone will do it without issue. -Always on screen is customizable and fantastic. - IP68/69 rating highest possible for Water resistance. -Speakers are good, produces great sound via bluetooth with customizable profiles. -Less AI What I do not like or other may not possibly like -Oxygen OS includes dual apps like for photos and you will get a feeling the app is trying to fuse some of ios features into it like a dynamic island clone I like them myself but this will not be a Pixel Like stock Android. -If you are expecting tons on AI integration like the Pixel series, this is not it, while there is Gemini and magic eraser some of the more baked in AI you see with Samsung or Pixel is not here I like that others may not. -You cannot get this phone through carriers for financing, but hey Amazon has financing options. -While I am not a Camera guru or enthusiast, the Cameras while they are solid are not on par with the latest Pixel or iPhone very close but not there yet. -This will not receive as much updates as the Pixel, Samsung or iPhone. In closing to me this is the best phone you can buy, the performance and the quality is on par with the best but on average costs less. I do not like Samsungs take on Android but other might, I hope my review helps those that are on the fence.

I couldn't be happier to make the switch from iPhone! This phone was pretty easy to learn andis significantly better than the current iPhone experience. It is fast and has so many great features. Battery life is exceptional and charges ridiculously fast. So many options for the display. A great overall feel and robust performance. Camera is better than what people are saying. It's a different beast entirely. I like it better than the Samsung I had tried briefly. If you are thinking about making the switch do it! My only complaint is that the volume button is on stage right

I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S23+ and this phone is really impressive. It's only been 24 hours but I think I can confidently write a review with my impression. One thing to note: I'm not new to OnePlus, I've had the OnePlus 5 and 8t before and while I really liked those phones, the software always felt half-baked. Little things bugged me about those earlier phones that I decided to try Samsung to see if I was missing anything. So far, not really. Skip to the next section if you want to know more about this phone, but I want to voice my disgust with Samsung and the current state of phones in the USA first. I feel like Samsung, Apple, and Google in recent years have been dragging their feet. They're enjoying being the top 3 phone makers and barely providing any new improvements. It's really pathetic that Samsung has done little to improve the camera and battery hardware in 3 years. They continuously recycle the same thing over and over and as a consumer I'm tired of it. There's no justification for buying a new phone every year at premium prices when there's barely any difference from the prior year. And don't get me started on bloatware that you can't uninstall. For companies this large, it's almost criminal that they don't have the best tech, and companies like OnePlus (Oppo), Xiaomi, and other Chinese manufacturers are pushing the boundaries. I want to support USA companies but they aren't doing much to get my business. But unfortunately most "global" phones don't support specific cellular bands in the USA, so we're stuck with limited choices. Apart from the top 3, OnePlus is one of the only other alternative choices. My only hope is that enough people stop buying Samsung, Google, and Apple to support better market competition. Here's some initial thoughts using my phone for 24 hours: Battery (incredible): It's 6,000mAh. It's big. It lasts a really long time. My very first cycle, charged to 100%, is just under 8 hours screen on time with 23% left. Maybe I won the battery lottery? I have a feeling others are getting similar results. Of course this depends on your use cases. I don't play any games. Fast Charging (incredible): Apple, Samsung, and Google are so far behind in tech it's silly. In the USA here, this phone supports 80 watt charging, doubling the competition. The phone even comes with the charging brick and USB-C cord. Take a shower, you'll be charged up for the day. It's insane. Really awesome feature. Design (awful): I don't like the feeling of the phone. It's super slippery. It's top heavy. It's delicate. It might look good, but it's almost impossible to use without a case. If I didn't get a case, I can guarantee that I would have dropped it. Also, my hand will touch the edges sometimes causing issues with the screen, either I get phantom touches or my hand will prevent me from actually interacting with the screen unless I reposition my hand. I don't see how anyone can use this phone without a case. I don't care if the edges are polished metal. I don't care if the back has some fancy glass. I want a grippy phone that I don't have to use a case. Screen (excellent): It's vivid, bright, clean, and I have no complaints so far. Even comes with a screen protector from the factory already applied. Speed (incredible): As of this review, it's not the top chip, but it's incredibly fast. The differences between the latest snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 (which is in the OnePlus 15) and this snapdragon 8 elite is probably not much to be honest. It's one of the best chips on the market, it flies. Storage speed is also solid. Also supports WiFi 7 if you need it. Overall no complaints, it's great. Software (good): OnePlus does a good job overall but the vanilla android experience is becoming a thing of the past. There is some bloatware, but you can uninstall or disable it, something different than Samsung. When setting up the phone, there's a ton of questions about monitoring your usage and making your life better (I'm paraphrasing). I'm not sure if this is Google Android or OnePlus, but I feel like there's always some app or background process that wants more access to your files and habits in an effort to provide you a better experience, but most of the time it's data mining. I am a little confused about whether I should use the OnePlus app vs Google's built in. One thing I noticed is that the OnePlus Weather app wouldn't work at all, no matter what I did. So I disabled it. Cameras (very competitive): I've only tried a few images and video, but the quality is as good, if not better, than the Galaxy 23+ for reference. I plan to use this for vacation photos and video. The camera hardware is better than the S23+ which I've used before, and on par with the S25+ phone based on my research. If I can get the same, if not better camera images and video than Samsung, at a lower cost... then it totally makes sense. Miscellaneous: I don't believe this phone has starlink satellite capability if that is important to you. Audio sounds great, no complaints. Android Auto in my car seems to work fine after initial setup. Overall it's SOLID The differences in phones over time has diminished so much recently that it's hard to justify paying premium prices for name brand devices. OnePlus has done a good job not only giving you better hardware and software, but at a price that is competitive to the top 3. If I have any major issues with the phone, I'll make sure to update this review.

First let me say this is my first OnePlus phone purchase. I've been watching this company since they first came out but never did purchase one of there phones. I am coming over from a google pixel 8 pro phone and considered the pixel 10 pro xl phone but kept OnePlus in mind. I've used a family members pixel 10 pro xl and something just felt clunky and not smooth so I figured I would try something different. I am so happy that I made the leap and gave this phone it's honest shot that it deserves. First impressions were of course the absolutely beautiful screen that gets brighter then anything I've seen before and for someone who uses my phone outdoors quite a bit this is a plus. The battery in this phone is absolutely amazing. Let me say I use my phone constantly and am usually on a WhatsApp call for 13 straight hours and this phones battery will go from 100 percent down to 47. Doing this with my pixel I'd have to charge in half the time and even with the family members pixel 10 pro xl it would need a charge as well. I was fascinated that when I do charge the phone it is always fully charged in less than an hour even from as low as 7 percent battery left. The performance of this phone is outstanding as I have thrown everything at it that I could and it never has shown any hints at stuttering or slowdown from some of the most demanding games on the play store. The camera does take some great pictures even though they may be oversaturated by some people standards. It however does not bother me as they are crisp enough and beautiful to me and definitely blows my pixel out of the water in picture quality. I am very thankful for switching to this phone and if you are on the fence I suggest you give it a try. I'll post some pictures I took while on vacation last week so you can see the picture quality. Edit A month of ownership with this phone and I am still not regretting my purchase. I have not had any issues at all and I've thrown a lot at this phone from Bluetooth calling to constant android auto use to playing games. This phone deserves respect.
