My original review is below. I reached out to Pure Encapsulations and they responded promptly, which pushes this from a 1-star experience to a 5-star one. -- This was shipped to me in Florida, in the spring, via USPS. It was left in my mailbox, in a lockbox. Because it's probiotic, it must be refrigerated/kept cool. By the time I checked the mail, the dry ice was already gone. The probiotics are likely no longer effective, and Amazon will not permit a return or exchange, even when marked "damaged." Until there is a better shipping option, I've got to rate this 1 star, even though the product is generally good.

I bought these to help with pimples. I'm in my late 30s and had never had a big problem with pimples or acne before, but about a year ago - before covid - I had been going to a couple of bars about once a week and I guess over a period of months the yeast from the alcohol coupled with the filthy glasses upset my gut bacteria, also I think stress played a role, along with food poisoning at Chipotle - which just recently dawned on me as being the thing that started the whole problem. It actually took me several months to figure this out, at first I reduced sugar from my diet, then I stopped drinking milk or eating cheese, then I started taking betaine hcl with pepsin pills, all of this was helpful but if I had just a piece of candy or a sip of milk then the next day I would have pimples on my face. Also helpful for reducing scars was Caudalie Vinoperfect serum, and TLC Framboos glycolic night serum; however, these only treat the symptoms not the cause. Eventually I realized the alcohol had caused the problem, so I stopped that, and I also figured I should try a probiotic. The internet was no help because if you look up acne treatment all they tell you to do is buy their face creams and acids, and wash your face more, but that is a lie, as the pimples had nothing to with not washing my face, the problem is gut bacteria. I bought these and the results came pretty much overnight. The only side effect I had was hard stool with mild constipation, but that only happened when I was taking them twice a day - I also took 3 pills a day a few times reasoning, "more is more" which I don't recommend. I haven't even finished the bottle but I'm back to where I was before the problem started.

I have problem since childhood this product took away my problems I received this product warm I am worried about the product quality due to not being keep cold I live in Vegas and is hot
