Set of 2 Grapefruit Spoons and 1 Grapefruit Knife, Stainless Steel, Serrated Edges

Wanted a grapefruit knife like my Mother had and thought I would try this one. The material of the blade isn't as heavy duty as my Mom's was. However, it does slice the grapefruit with ease and makes easy work of sectioning. for the price, it was definitely worth having, and getting the two spoons was a nice bonus. The spoons are great! They scoop out all the juicy goodness of the grapefruit!

Some reviewers stated that this set was cheaply made because the blade was flexible - however, a grapefruit knife should be flexible; it is designed to follow the shape of the fruit - you use a normal chef knife to cut the fruit in half, then use a grapefruit knife to separate the membrane. This is a very nice little set, especially for the price.

This was a gift for a friend who loves eating grapefruit but didn't have the proper equipment. She was thrilled to receive this set says that the knife and spoons work "great", and also reports that the item quality is very good. This was an inexpensive gift that made someone happy - can't beat that!

I wish the serrations were a little smaller on this knife, I think it might cut more smoothly but that's not really an issue. Spoons were great, I like that those were included. Gave 4 stars because I have some minor concerns about durability. Will update review if I encounter an issue

I lost my one remaining grapefruit spoon. I ADORE fresh grapefruit and have always sectioned the pieces and enjoyed the fresh juice. This is the first time I've used a grapefruit spoon and what a joy!! It makes sectioning a grapefruit and I guess any citrus so much easier, less wasteful. This very affordable set is highly recommended.

I thought the grapefruit knife alone was a great buy even with-OUT the two serrated grapefruit spoons that came with it, but they trio is nice looking AND sturdy! This was a good deal.

I got this for my wife who loves grapefruit but never used a grapefruit spoon. She absolutely loves this set! Great price too. We’ll see how they hold up after a few more months of use- I’ll update this review.

I suspect there is an art to using the bent, serrated knife. Sometimes I seem to be able to follow the pith perfectly and extract nearly the whole grapefruit. Other times it's a juicy mess, the tip goes through the bottom or takes too much pith with the fruit. I think the radius of the bend and grapefruit need to be matched and while you can (dangerously) bend the knife, there's no way of knowing how much to bend or in bend it for a particular grapefruit. Spoons work the same as any other grapefruit spoons.
