4 Channel WiFi Momentary Inching Relay Self-Lock Switch Module,DIY WiFi Garage Door Controller (5-32V)

While this switch can be tricky to setup, perservering with it is worth the effort. It's not quite plug & play to setup and the auto-pairing mode did not always work, so I used the manual pairing which requires a few more steps using the App and worked well with different routers. I have purchased six of these switches to use in different projects and have discovered how versatile they are when using the IFTTT programming. The programming is not difficult (I'm not a programmer) and I have been able to program a channel on a switch to cause conditional actions on other channels on the same switch or to cause conditional actions on channels on other 4CH switches. The possibilities seem endless, but you need to invest the time to learn. Remote access to the switches I have installed over the past few months has been reliable and they have always come back on-line after power and Internet outages without needing to be re-paired with the router. This device is better than some other brand name products I have installed which sometimes need to be reset manually which annoyingly requires me to visit the remote location.

This was very easy to set up and was demonstrably working within minutes after downloading the eWeLink app. The device exposes four channels for controlling devices that require a contact closure to activate. My own garage door needs a pulse contact closure on one channel to open. It has a separate set of contacts that needs a pulse contact closure to close the door. This device has four contact channels that enables me to control two doors. The device offers a good range of capabilities allowing each channel to be configured to either pulse or switch or interlock and contacts are duplicated as normally on and normally off. ….. and all this for £17. Only one slight criticism is the documentation is a bit scant and best to print out the Amazon product notes and then everything is revealed.

When I bought it, Amazon warned me that this item has a high return rate. I also saw on various discussion groups that people complain it keeps turning off a second after you turn it on, which I couldn't understand either as it was happening to me. It is not mentioned in the documentation that the device has three modes, controlled by the mode switch. By default the device operates in pulse mode, so when you turn on a relay it pulses before turning off again. This is probably not what most folks would require! If you press the mode button, then it changes to static mode, meaning that when you turn on any of the four relays they stay on. This was what I wanted the device to do. If you press again then the device goes into interlock mode, turning on any one relay turns off all the others. Once I'd figured this out I was really happy with the device and recommend it as great value for money!

As per usual instructions are very lacking, but if you intend to use something like this then you should have an idea of what you are doing. Setup was very easy pairing to the Ewelink app. For my use it was to automate our electric recliner sofa. We are currently using inching mode set at about 9 seconds which sets the desired comfort level with one touch or by using alexa. All in all a great product would recommend it, need another one now to automate our vertical blinds.

Works well with garage doors and gates and very cost effective, and very easy operation with alexa .

This was super easy to set up and works perfectly. Garage doors begin opening the instant my voice command is completed. I can even say "Alexa, Open the pod bay doors" and all 4 begin opening at the same time. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a second unit to add on to my system been running now 24 hours a day for 3 years

Bought this to control two devices with Alexa. Works fine with all four channels separately through eweLink but if you use Alexa the commands it all of them only switch on or off channel 1. Meaning only one device can be set up with Alexa. This makes no sense it gives voice commands for each switch, but only fires against one. Setup was hard work it took five attempts for the pairing to recognize the device. But after successfully working getting it working with the phone and not connected to Alexa was not too difficult. Including setting inching settings. But as I only purchased this to add Voice activated commands to two devices it is useless unless I buy two one for each component. Also Amazon seems to have a version on prime for £12.99 where picture is exact duplicate of this one.

I was a bit concerned it wouldnt work after reading some of the reviews, however it worked fine when hooked up to DC, just ensure the polarity is correct as it likely doesnt have any protection if wired incorrectly. I tested using 12v and 24v DC and both work fine. Setup on Home Assistant via HACS Sonoff plugin, was pretty straight foward to setup. Installed the app initially to get it connected to WiFi and set a static IP in the router, the Sonoff HACS intergration pulls the local address and communications is locally rather than via the web.

Per quanto mi riguarda penso sia un ottimo prodotto. Ho preso il 4 canali e dopo averlo configurato e aggiornato con la sua app funziona benissimo. Lo uso sia con Alexa che con l'app proprietaria e gestisco l'illuminazione 12V in una stanza. La configurazione è relativamente semplice sia per quanto riguarda il dispositivo con la sua app sia per quanto riguarda Alexa, con Alexa bisogna installare una skill.. fatto questo si può chiedere di accendere o spegnere tutti e 4 i canali oppure uno solo (chiedi accendi canale 1 oppure nomini il canale con l'app del dispositivo con alogena, led, tapparella ecc ecc) Funziona come accendi e spegni tutti i canali Funziona come accendi un canale e spegne un canale attivo (sempre un canale acceso insomma) Funziona come input cioè attacca e stacca il canale selezionato, chiudendo il circuito di quel canale per 1 secondo. Queste funzioni le si può scegliere una alla volta e tramite pulsante. Se come me prima dell'acquisto vi state chiedendo se funziona da remoto (fuori casa, esempio in un altro paese con connessione dello smartphone 4G o wifi albergo) la risposta è sì. L'alimentazione nel mio caso viene fatta con cavo USB, prossimamente lo collegherò a una linea 12v proveniente dalle batterie del solare ... (Ho già provato e funziona benissimo.) App del dispositivo: è abbastanza ben fatta, richiede una registrazione con la vostra mail e una password (come registrarsi ad Amazon per capirci) potete mettere più dispostivi (non solo relè ma anche spine smart ecc). Accedendo con l'app al vostro relè (esempio camera da letto) potete vedere se il canale (la luce) è accesa o spenta, potete accendere e spegnere tutti i canali assieme, potete programmare accensione e spegnimento a una tot ora e tante altre funzioni e impostazioni che devo ancora capire bene. A quanto ne so tutto questo è gratuito, avete acquistato il prodotto e assieme vi viene dato questo servizio. L'app non vi chiede carte di credito ecc. Insomma, versarile, relativamente economico, funziona bene, l'app fatta abbastanza bene. Per me 5 stelle meritate, ottimo prodotto, lo riacquisteró.
