This varnish is so easy to work with, dries very quicky and leaves a beautiful matte finish. I applied 2 coats and reordered a second bottle after trying it for the first time so - I'm sure to always have it on hand! They both arrived quickly and well packaged.

So far I have tried 3 different varnishes. Deco art American dura clear gloss varnish. Alleens acrylic gloss finish spray and deco art American triple thick brilliant brush on gloss. Well, I also tried Sculpey satin gloss too. The spray is definitely my favorite as far as simplicity. Makes days worth of work turn into hours. Does a nice job too once you get the hang of it. Biggest drawback I would say is it stays tacky for a few days so you need to leave your pieces sit. The triple think gloss is very thick. It does a beautiful job and is dry by the next day. The one I’m doing the review for is ok. It’s not as thick and not as glossy if that is the kind of look you want. I didn’t really care for the Sculpey satin because I wanted a glossier finish. I guess it all depends on your preference and the amount of time you want to take doing the gloss. Right now the spray is my favorite but that is because it is so much easier on my back and neck because I’m not hand paining for hours. I do really like the American Brand products. One more I’d like to try is pledge floor wax. It makes your pieces beautiful from pictures I’ve seen. I can definitely recommend this one though. Just not a super high gloss but still glossy enough to tell you did something to your pieces. I’m working with polymer clay doing jewelry. That’s what I’m using my glosses for. Update: Forget the spray if you are using it for clay. It never dries. I ruined about 50 earrings using that. Also, I did just try the pledge floor wax. It’s beautiful on clay art. Dries fast and doesn’t really leave brush strokes. I tried it by painting it on with a flat brush. Also works putting it on a cloth and rubbing your piece with the cloth. Not quite as shiny that way but it depends on what look you are going for. It does make your fingers sticky but it washes off no problem.

Great product with a high gloss and easy use bottle.

Works great to coat and shine rock art. One coat protects the paint two coats gives it a shine and three coats gives it a nice gloss. It's a bit pricey, it would be better if it came in a bigger bottle but a few drops is all it takes to do a good coating.

I've used this product for years and it's still good for coating polymer clay. If I need a super durable shine on something that will be handled frequently, I'll go with a two part epoxy. But this one is so quick and easy, dries fast, and is long lasting to add a thin coat of shiner.

realmente sorprendidO con la calidad del Deco Art Barniz Multicolor. Los colores quedan vivos, brillantes y con un acabado muy profesional. Se aplica con muchísima facilidad, no deja grumos y seca bastante rápido, algo que agradezco cuando trabajo en proyectos detallados. Además, protege muy bien la superficie: después de varias semanas, los tonos siguen igual de intensos y el barniz no se ha cuarteado ni opacado. Me encantó el efecto final, ¡Totalmente recomendado para quienes buscan darle un toque especial y duradero a sus trabajos de creaciones.

Il prodotto si stende bene e ha un odore leggero, quasi piacevole e affatto penetrante. Una volta secco non emette alcun odore e lascia una patina non lucida ma neanche opaca, direi un ottimo compromesso. L'ho usato per proteggere e impermeabilizzare ulteriormente un chápán 茶盘 in bambù e sono pienamente soddisfatto, resiste perfettamente all'acqua, anche quando è bollente o se rimane bagnato a lungo

Barniz utilizado para un sobre de mesa de madera de abeto natural. Se trata de la mesa del comedor, donde come la familia, por lo tanto la mesa estará expuesta a agua, comida, salsas, etc... Este barniz de poliuretano es la mejor solución que conozco para estos casos. El barniz sintético crea una película alrededor de la madera que la protege de cualquier vertido y permite lavarla con agua y jabón. El barniz de poliuretano lo podemos encontrar habitualmente en las barras de madera de los bares pero normalmente suele ser brillante y este es ultramate. Cuando digo ultramate es ultramate, ni pizca de brillo ni satinado. El color es del todo transparente, no se advierte la capa de barníz hasta que no viertes un líquido y ves como es repelido. Una vez colocada la primera capa parece que no hay barníz, pero al pasar la lija fina (es importante lijar entre capa y capa de barniz) no deja ir ni gota de serrín, es decir, el barniz sella desde la primera capa. El fabricante recomineda dos capas, pero yo suelo siempre dar una o dos más de lo recomendado, en este caso con tres creo que es mas que suficiente. El secado es rapidísimo, aproximadamente en 30 minutos seca y en 2 horas está completamente listo para lijar. No huele en absoluto, he barnizado dentro de la casa y ni rastro de olor en el ambiente. En definitiva el mejor barniz para superficies de interior que van a sufrir un desgaste importante. Quiero recordar que este tipo de barniz no es para exteriores pues se deterioran con los rayos UV.
