Medarchitect Pill Counting Tray

I’m a retired pharmacist and wanted something that was similar to the counting trays I was accustomed to (Abbott Labs distributed them free to pharmacies for decades). This one fit my needs in every way. It is the same as Abbott’s design, same size, better hinge construction, and even better, comes in several color choices (I purchased a green one). I didn’t particularly like the plastic spatula that came with the tray but it was a freebie so no great shucks. I just switched it out and used one of the tapered spatulas that I had saved from my pharmacist days so all’s well. I use my tray to divide up bulk quantities of nutritional supplements with several friends so that each of us get smaller quantities. That way, we are able to buy fresh quantities more frequently. Easy to use and a sanitary way to handle pills without physically touching them. What more is there to say?

I really like this pill counter tray! It is so useful! I can count my medications, portion them out, and return the rest back into their bottles without spilling them or losing any! The little handle really helps with counting, and I like the lip around the tray that keeps the pills in the tray! I also like the cover on the return channel. I recommend this tray to anyone who has to deal with multiple medications (i have 9 different types I take daily!).

We purchased this pill counting tray with spatula because we've noticed some discrepancies coming from the pharmacy. And because it's not always easy to remember if you've taken your medication or not and this is a sanitary and careful way to count them and get them back into your bottle without contamination or losing a pill. I was really surprised by the sturdiness of the plastic and think it's a really good value for the price. Anyone who takes routine medication could benefit from having one of these in their home. Especially if you find that you need to load a week or month's pill sorter. You can use this without having to touch all of your pills or risk dropping them while doing so.

Helps me keep track of # of pills I have left and when to reorder. Does the job as expected.

I will be using them to practice counting everything small like beans, marbles, and so on. I didn't expect the tray to look this way, but I like it more than the clear plastic being in the center where the label is placed because when I clean it, alcohol tends to get into it. Smart idea! There is a wall on the other side of the case part which makes it safer for the beans to not slide out. The open hole part fits the pill bottles perfectly when pouring into it. I will definitely be buying the other colors for others to practice on too. Thank you very much!

This counting tray is a fugly slut. Do not trust her. Looked promising because I’ve had a similar model in the past and this color green is my favorite, but it disappointed me more than not getting a Candy Cane Gram from Glen Coco
