It's a solid option for a mailbox and it looks good on our home. I'll be swapping it out for a better quality one in the future but this has lasted me over a year and I should get another year or two our of it. The metal is fairly thin and gets small surface rust that I treat and coat with a spray for stainless appliances that helps a bit. The plastic viewing window was nice at first but now the plastic is ultra brittle and has yellowed to the point of being nearly opaque.
