A little tricky wiring but works great and we were able to use our existing badges to access!

Like another posted, you’ll need to buy wire as the leads are very short from the supplied pieces...2-3 inches. The instructions are tough to figure out, but reading a similar product review I was able to get it right the first time. It powered up and I set the codes and tested the release options. Then I walked away and 10 minutes later the AC converter had turned off. I couldn’t get it back on so ordered another with a partial Amazon refund for the converter/power supply. To be awesome this needs: 1) better instructions, 2) longer leads especially on the power supply. It is extremely difficult to wire the 110 to the converter in a junction box, 3) an ac power supply that works. Definitely not a professional security product, but great for a hidden door. Update: Have it all installed now. Super cool. I’m working on splicing a second magnet to the bottom of the door...if the power supply has enough juice for it. That way the hidden door is secure and does not cork when pushed. Currently the top doesn’t budge but the bottom moves in an inch if you push.

Do not purchase this or you will regret it! That's all I can say.

I had this professionally installed and it wasn't strong enough to keep the door closed. My two year older daughter pushed it open with this lock engaged.

Nessuno fino ad ora a detto che la password che viene fornita di default è solo per la programmazione e non per l'apertura della porta. Per impostare la vostra password dovete digitare #123456#21(la vostra password)# e dopo digitando (la vostra password)# si aprirà la porta. Stesso discorso vale x le swipe card che non sono programmate, dovete digitare#123456#1 poi avvicinare la swipe card al lettore e digitare di nuovo # a questo punto ogni volta che avvicinerete la card al lettore si aprirà la porta.

Almost everything was in the box except cable and a box to mount the door release switch. The instructions are a little difficult to follow, but the colour coding helps. I also added a second door release using an old door bell push. The programming is very easy, setting up the tokens and an access code was quick and easy too. The wires for a bell seem to be live all the time, which doesn't seem to make sense, so I couldn't add a door bell to the system. All told, it installed quickly and easily and works really well - and it's as cheap as chips!

Had it wired up, programmed and tested on the workbench within an hour, worked great. Took some time to apply it into my project and run the wires neatly. My only complaint was the mounting of the magnetic door release into my project took some time and modification but worked out ok in the end. I would recommend this item, a great item at a very reasonable price.
