Cables was exactly what I needed. My new MacBook only had usb-c and my denon controller came with a usb-a cable.

Using this for professional DJing and live audio work where glitches and other cable-related problems are not acceptable. I see this cable as "insurance" if you will... it is designed with audio applications like Serato/Tractor/MIDI in mind and therefore should provide more peace of mind at any show where quality performance is required. The color was another qualifier for me as I needed a very particular color that is hard to find. I just wish they were made a bit cheaper, given the simple nature and low cost of creating these. Durability remains to be seen, though I expect these will last me ages as I don't put them through much physical effort.

No More Dongles!
I purchased several of these Chroma Cables in order to replace all my USB-B to USB-A cables in my studio. I couldn't rely on carrying around a dongle to my gigs or to other studios so I needed a solution. Boom! Along came these chroma cables. I previously had the USB-B to USB-A Chroma Cables, still do, but now that my Macbook Pro only has USB-C ports I needed to replace all my cables. This is a must-have if you own a computer with only USB-C ports. I don't like dongles and I've heard horror stories of them failing during live performances.
