THORNE Pic-Mins - Trace Mineral Complex with 7 Essential Trace Minerals - 90 Capsules

Picolinated minerals are well absorbed. I have a lot of muscle tightness and have found that with my body chemistry that taking too many glycinated minerals exacerbate the muscle tightness in my neck and shoulders so Thorne's picolinated minerals work best for me. I take Pic-Mins along with a Magnesium Malate product. Together they keeps my muscles loose so no more waking up in the middle of the night with muscle cramps or spasms and no annoying eye twitching. Less pain and less migraine headaches for me and the zinc has helped me heal a leaky gut. I tend to get nauseated if I take vitamins and minerals on an empty stomach so I always take Pic-Mins with food. This product also has not triggered any of my food sensitivities. Thorne makes high quality products, I've not been disappointed with any of their products thus far.

Good source of trace minerals

My doctor recommended this brand of Picolinated minerals for my many mineral deficiencies (zinc, selenium and manganese and other trace minerals). Since I've been taking them my hair stopped falling and my nails are much stronger and do not brake easily. I have underactive thyroid so hair loss was an issue before taking this supplement. I have digestives issues but this Thorne brand does not give my any problems. I take them with food right after breakfast. They do not taste or smell bad to me, at least not like other vitamin B-Complex capsules do. But I do not sniff the bottle either, haha. Anyway I take all my supplements with food always, this way I never get nausea. I never noticed any problems with these minerals. With iron I do, but not this one. The capsule is so tiny so it is easy to swallow. I like the Thorne brand because it is free of many allergens: gluten, rice, daily and egg free; and I have problems with sensitivities and histamine issues with all of these foods. I cannot take Methycobalamin B12 (b/c it makes me anxious, etc),which is in most multivitamins and B-Complex supplements, that's why I take most of my supplements that I really need or for tested as deficiencies separately, and I know that I can trust this brand.

Overall, a good micro mineral supplement. However, the pills are TINY, and a bit expensive for what you get, compared to other similar products.

Great product

many of the minerals said to be of help to diabetics are quite expensive. these did not seen to be as cheap as i would have liked. but they were not as expensive as a lot of stuff i bought that did a lot less for me. when you consider that it has 6 of the most rare minerals and think what 6 separate bottles would cost, it is a bargain. and early in the morning when your brain is at dial tone,and your dog ate your glasses, only opening one bottle instead of 6 can save you hours of groping around on the floor trying to find lids you dropped. AND this is one of the few vitamins or minerals that i have taken in my life that i noticed made a difference. i was taking others stuff too, and those may have had part in some of the difference, but i got these later and most of it had to be from this. it could be in time i wll be so togehter that i capitalze properly.

I love this supplement as it is the only one I take that I can feel an immediate result. I suffered muscle cramps and heart palpitations before taking this supplement and after checking with my MD I knew I did not have a physical or mechanical reason for this. What I did need was magnesium. This supplement is absorbed so well that I had positive results the same day! I visited with my sister who has her masters in nursing and after she read the label she pronounced this supplement as being excellent. I also ordered one for my housekeeper who runs marathons and suffers leg cramps. She plans to use this along with her prescription potassium from her MD with his endorsement for helping to recover from her runs and heavy workouts.
