Great Screwdriver
I usually don't use these types of screwdrivers. I have a professional set of Klein screwdrivers that I love. I bought this because I wanted the extension to use in my impact driver and the additional cost of buying the entire screwdriver instead of just the extension was attractive. It works really well and exactly the way it was designed. There is one huge positive that I want to mention. I generally hate using slotted screwdrivers because they always slip off the screws in any application. From time to time I need to replace electrical cover plates and it is such a pain. I did a comparison with my small Klien flat blade screwdriver and the Wera. The Wera has the Rapidaptor bit holder with a ring at the end that spins so you can hold it in place while turning. I was amazed at how well I was able to keep the flat bit on the screw while loosening or tightening cover plates. When I switched to the traditional screwdriver, it slid all over the place and was much more difficult to keep centered on the screw. I was also concerned about working in small spaces because of the size of the Rapidaptor. Don't get me wrong, the Rapidaptor is quite small for a bit adapter of this type. I found the tightest place I could find in my house which was the screws on a deadbolt as there was not much room between the screws and the deadbolt knob. It was close but it fit fine without rubbing on the knob. I also bought a 10 pack of Wera 3.5" Phillips bits that I can attach to this screwdriver in the event I need to get into an even tighter space. But, I'm not planning to use this as my go to screwdriver. I'm going to stick with the Kleins for most jobs. But this is just a handy little tool to have around. There are two minor negatives to mention but I believe they are expected from this type of device so I don't think it should take away from the 5 star rating. The first thing is because it is a multipart screwdriver, the connection between the handle and the shaft has the slightest amount of play which causes the shaft to wiggle a bit. Not to the point that it takes away from the function at all, it just feels less secure than a solid traditional screwdriver. But again, that is to be expected from this type of device. Another thing that happened is that one of the bits fell out of the storage area in the handle when I opened it. I snapped it back into place and it seemed to snap in firmly so maybe it was just a little loose from the factor or shipping. All and all this is a great product with a really cool design and features. Update: I still think this is a 5 star tool but I sold it to a friend who loved it. I found myself continually using my Klein Heavy Duty Multi-Bit screwdriver. There are a couple of things about the Klein that work better for me. First, it feels more solid as the Wera has a slight wobble. I feel that these two screwdrivers are for different purposes though. The Wera is more of a compact travel tool and it is great for that purpose. I can use the Klein every day and it feels solid. Another thing about he Klein is that all of the tips are in the blade of the screwdriver, not the handle. When I want to go from phillips to slotted all I need to do is pull out the blade, flip it over and put it back in. The Wera takes a little more time to switch bits. The last thing is that I prefer the traditional grip of the Klein more than the unique grip of the Wera. The Wera is not bad but I just prefer the Klein type grip. Also, the Klein contains 3 nut drivers built into the blade. For all around day to day use in a professional environment, the Klein is better for me. For mobility as a travel screwdriver for a car or boat, the Wera is great. The Klein is also about half the price of the Wera. But, you can use any 1" hex tip with the Wera. Not so with the Klein. They are both good, just different. On another note, I'm planning to buy a set of Wiha insulated slim screwdrivers. I'm choosing Wiha over Wera because of the handle. I think I will like the smoother handle of the Wiha better than the Wera. Both are ergonomic but the Wiha is smoother and rounder. I've held them both and the Wiha feel more comfortable to me. Many people love Wera and I think they are 5 star tools.

Great multi-screwdriver.
I purchased this screwdriver along with the Wera 838 RA-R M ratcheting screwdriver. I prefer the larger handle size of this KK25 model. The larger grip has a more positive feel in the hands. This screwdriver is available with different bits in the internal holder which gives it a different part number. The Rapidaptor extension telescopes out when the green ring is pulled backwards toward the handle. It can also be removed by holding the ring and pulling it out. It requires a firmer pull backwards on the ring to push the extension back inside the handle. It can be used in the in or out position. The bit holding tip is fitted with a magnet to hold screws to the tip. The bit is ejected with a simple pull of the green and black grip at the tip of the extension. The tip remains in the out position until a new bit is inserted and it automatically locks the bit in place. While the pouch is nicely made, I doubt that I will ever use it. I'm more likely to use a larger tool pouch to carry this and other tools. I ordered other Rapidaptors in various lengths to fit this and 838 model with smaller handle. Time will tell if this ends up replacing my Snap-On ratcheting screwdriver as my go-to.

Very Versatile, Quality Screwdriver
I'm the kind of person that would rather have a few good screwdrivers instead of a lot junky, cheap ones and this fits the bill. This is great for throwing in the car, truck, or desk drawer for when you need that quick screwdriver for different screws. It has a unique spring loaded shaft and the bits lock in so they won't fall out. The only problem I would see is if your screw is recessed in a well, the lock would not fit the well. It is a little expensive but it is a quality multibit so it covers a lot of different screwdrivers in a very compact form factor.

Great tool
Best screwdriver ever. So versatile with the retracting shaft and storage in the handle. All bits included are commonly used. Handle is very comfortable. Build quality is rock solid. The case is surprisingly very high quality as well.

Great multidriver
On sale, this is an excellent all in one tool, essentially costing a few bucks more than just buying the bayonet but including a handle and bits. Wera's handles are a love it or hate it proposition, but it's well made with what looks like a nylon material with overmoulded rubber, well balanced in the hand for both claw grips and palm grips, with weight slightly biased forward when bayonet is released. Pressing a button on the base of the tool extends the bit-holder, and holding the top collar extends the bayonet with a very satisfying spring-loaded feel. The bayonet can also be removed entirely to be used with your drivers. The bayonet is the main reason you'd buy this over other multi-drivers. The head is a bit thicker than in other standard bayonets due to the collar design, but this has the advantage of a quick change collar with an EXTREMELY strong magnet that basically makes it impossible to have the bit fall out when you install it. Flip the collar up with light force and the magnet force is weakened so you can easily replace the bit. This makes one-handed bit changes possible and it's a huge boon when you're using the screwdriver in delicate situations where losing a bit is a pain (engine bay, on top of a ladder, etc.). It's my go-to bayonet for general purpose use. There are a few downsides. The sections that hold the bits are slightly loose. The bits never fell out of the tool but I was definitely wary when using them in critical situations (like on a ladder) and never kept the holder open longer than I had to. The selection of bits was also a bit limiting, since it only includes 3 sizes of Philips and slotted bits. Of course, since it uses standard 1/4" bits, you can mix and match to what you need. Because of the tolerance stackup from the bitholder and the bayonet, there is a bit of slop if you were to hold the tool and then apply sideways force onto the tip of the bayonet. In practice this is rarely noticeable and doesn't distract from using the tool.

Its a Wera! Just great hand tools. Comfortable to use, great feel and functional. There has been a lot of work put into the design of these tools.

Exceptional quality, very satisfied, the different size bits was a pleasant surprise. Pity this brand of tools is so expensive, but very happy

Arrived neatly packaged , without damage or defect. Initial impressions are great. Rapidator is good as it always was. A little scratchy but fine. Few issues like lack of groove on the main body makes it a little slipper when wet. The body ring to pull back when changing bits or rapidator is the biggest issue - takes quite a bit of effort, definitely not for one handed op. Spring action needs to be learned but its fine thereafter. Storage area is decently adequate and bits are clean with minimal smell. Oh, there is some rattling inside , probably the spring mechanism.
