Seven Potions Men's Natural Pomade

Exactly what I was looking for, I wanted something that was healthy and looks great for slick or messy textured hair. It definitely is a great product and reworkable and lasts. My hair doesn't frizz after a day of work. It’s a great cream and it’s got a nice smell. Somewhat Easy to take off before beds too maybe a bit shampoo.

At first I didn't like this pomade, but I've used enough of them to know that my initial impression could change. As it turned out, that's what happened with this creamy pomade. For me, it works best if I mix a tiny dab with my usual styling cream, blow-dry, and then add a bit more pomade to finish/texturize. I love that this add shine but not too much, it moisturizes without feeling slick or greasy, and allows you to restyle your hair throughout the day (no stickiness or snarls). Layering this in small amounts works best until you find the amount that works best for your hair length and thickness; I have normal to fine hair, but a lot of it, and it has a slight wave pattern that can be frustrating to work with. This pomade keeps my hair looking great all day, and even the next morning! It washes out pretty well, you might find you need to shampoo twice, but this will depend on the shampoo you use. All told, after trying at least six other pomades recently (including those from Aveda, Oribe, and Davines) this was and remains the winner. I think the best compliment I can give is that I would repurchase!

Cruelty free pomade great for use on beards as well as hair. It's made of natural ingredients and holds shape well. It has a unique smell kind of like a candle but I think it smells good

Good quality but used on my son's hair broke him out with blisters all over. He has Alpha Gal syndrome it's not safe. Something in it could trigger a reaction.

I have been using this product for years and loved it. Sadly they added a strong disgusting scent so I just had to throw it away upon ordering more. What a waste. I’m actually glad this happened because I switched to a “water based” pomade called imperial and it’s SO much better than this “water soluble”. It doesn’t make my hair feel oily the next day and water allows me to reactivate it easily whenever I want. A shame they changed the formula but I’m actually thrilled to have found a better product that allows me to avoid washing my hair nearly as often.

I had tried many pomades that were organic or all natural. I have very thick hair , and none of the certified organic pomades came close to holding at all unfortunately. I had to find something other than the standard chemical-laden pomades, since pomade is kept in all day, and I use it daily, allowing the chemicals to constantly leach into the scalp. I did a good amount of searching, and came across this pomade. I was not disappointed with the hold. Like the other reviews say, it does not hold as well as the oil based, I always have a few stray hairs, and it still allows my hair to be semi-wavy, even when caking it on, but it's the best I've used that is all natural, and it definitely feels all natural. I'm going to stick with this for awhile.

This is my new go-to favorite natural styling pomade! I have very sensitive scalp and hair so won't use any chemical products esp. sulfates and parabens etc. Not only does this fit the bill but it holds almost as well as the chemical brands with a high hold! Just a trick to remember, it styles the best/stays firmest if you style the product in your hair when your hair is completely dry. If you do it when wet it won't work as well and provides a different look/feel then 'extra strong hold'.

I’ve tried them all (literally all) and this is the best hair product I’ve ever used. Just rub a nickel size dab in wet hair, comb and forget it. Nice clean look, not heavy and smells good but not overwhelming.

Ich bin von der POMADE absolut positiv überrascht! Die Pomade ist mineralölfrei und besteht aus natürlichen Bestandteilen. Meistens können mich solche Pomaden in der Performance dann nicht so überzeugen. Diese hier jedoch schon! Geht sehr angenehm aus der Dose, läßt sich absolut leicht verteilen, gibt dafür aber erstaunlich guten Halt. Kein Halt wie die rote DAX oder die Murray's Superior, aber diese Pomade soll ja keine feste/harte Pomade sein. Der Duft ist okay. Ich find ihn angenehm und er nervt mich nicht. Besonders toll ist, das die Pomade nicht zu einem fettigen Look/Gefühl führt, auf der andern Seite aber auch nicht zu einem stumpfen/trockenen Look/Gefühl wie bei einigen Matt-Pomaden/Clays. Haar und Kopfhaut fühlt sich extrem angenehm/gesund an und man hat einen seidigen, sehr natürlich wikenden leichten Glanz/Schein. Keine Chemie, auch kein Mineralöl. Läßt sich einfach auswaschen. Die Dose gefällt mir extrem gut! Angenehme mittlere Größe, aus Metall, Schraubverschluss, tolle Farbwahl und elegantes Design. Wirklich rundum gelungen. Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht. Deswegen schreib ich hier auch dieses Review .... ich hoffe, die Firma kann sich mit diesem Produkt lange auf dem Markt behaupten. Wäre schade, wenn das Produkt verschwinden würde! Kaufempfehlung meinerseits!

Marketed as a "premium" pomade, this does do what it says on the tin, it's just not as good as I expected. I paid £15.97 at the time of purchase and although I will use it, there are plenty of products on the market that do the job at around half the price. Pros: Smells great, gives hair a fair level of hold, washes out easily, can be easily restyled with a little water, vegan friendly and cruelty free (though I haven't researched that), good for pompadour or slick-back styles. Cons: A little too pricey, hold could be better, nowhere near a "high shine", need to use a little more than usual for desired results.

I feel good putting this in my hair and it doesn't feel super greasy or dead the next day like the effects some products have. The smell is not strong, it's kind of like hand cream. Actually the consistency is kind of like hand cream too, it's very easy to work in yet it holds very good. A couple concerns would be the ceteareth-20 which is the 5th ingredient. If their source is high quality then there's nothing to worry about however if it is impure it can be contaminated with 1,4 dioxane which is carcinogenic. The other concern is the ingredients/quality of the essential oils they're using. The last two ingredients are fragrance(essential oils) and sandalwood essential oils. Regardless I feel safe using the product as relative to previously used hair gels and pomades this product is the cleanest I have used. Previously I have used typical brands like reuzel, l'oreal, etc. which are not organic and certainly contain questionable chemicals. For like $26 its a really good pomade and seems really clean. I haven't found a better one for the price/quality so this is my new go to product.

Advertised as natural but look closely at the ingredients- loads of junk. Have returned this and will never purchase again from this brand.
