Good piece of equipment
I bought this item to use with resistance bands and the gap on the underside is ideal for this. Really sturdy and non slip.

Not full size but good enough
A good quality "half size" step which I use with resistance bands for a wightlifting alternative.

It works!
I did have some practice over the last 47 years as we do have stairs in our house. However, as a beginner "stepper" I must say I was fairly proud of getting it right the first time. I went up! I went down! It's genius!! Wooohoooo!

I've been using this to work my calves. Using it flat gives me a really good stretch. When I put my toes at the very edge of one side and lowered my feet to stretch I was expecting the opposite side to lift off the ground but it didn't. It also doe NOT slip.
