Installed this new LCD and turned power on before assembling to check whether screen powers up. The rear (white side) of the screen lights up but not the front (black side). I suspect that the LCD panel was reversed during manufacturing. Ordered a replacement but don't hold out much hope if it's from the same batch. Will update if it works. Amazon customer service were great and gave me a refund without having to return the defective part. UPDATE: Received the replacement LCD screen today and installed. Works fine. No problems. Screen resolution is sharp, bright and clear. My iPad mini 2 now has a new battery, LCD and digitizer screen. Good as new!!

I Last purchased Oct 16, 2022, and today I finally got to do the install got super excited but once i tested the new screen i thought it wasn't connected all the way turns out the back light flashes on once and then the screen goes dark you can see the logo still but no backlight. I'm very disappointed because this tablet was supposed to be fixed today and working as well but now, I can't return the item Nore can I get a refund just over all please test all of your lcd screens before selling to a customer because I know I just wasted money and time doing this for nothing!!!! video will be uploaded of their failure of a good product please I would definitely not recommend this product at all and I would also disregard all the other supposedly good comments and reviews amazon also says this is a frequently returned product I would take this review I into consideration.

It’s great LCD replacement, I know it’s not apple LCD screen but it’s worth it! You have to google how to replace it on line! I paid $48 dollars for LCD screen! I didn’t have to buy new mini I pad for $500!!!!

This replace bad lcd shipment I got, seller replaced. Worked great no problems, 2nd time was the charm. When it comes to electronic parts like screens etc.. some are just bad from factory or got too many bumps in shipping, not the sellers fault. Frustrating yes, but it’s life. Seller replaced and I’m happy, what more can you want? I’d buy from seller again, 2nd one was a perfect install.

Missing the glue, second time had to return first because it did not work now missing the glue so. Just hoping this one works at least

My daughter's ipad mini 2 had a bunch of verticle lines on half of the screen. Instead of buying a new one, I thought I would try this replacement screen. There is plenty of good videos on how to do the replacement on Youtube, just take your time. I'd recommend having a magnifying glass and a fresh razor blade (or specific pry tool) in addition to the tools supplied in the kit. Also when putting in the new screen do put any pressure on the front the screen, or you could cause some damage. I ended up pressing too hard with one of my fingers, and created a black circle of dead pixels about the size of a dime, however after about 3-4 days it has completely gone away on its own.

I bought this, installed it & there were vertical lines all over the screen. I re-seated the connector, same problem. I popped another screen in & it worked perfectly, so I know this one was defective. I ended up missing the deadline to get it replaced, so I'm stuck with a dead, expensive replacement screen unfortunately.
