In a vast ocean of mediocrity, to find a company that stands behind their product thusly is indeed a rarity. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. * * * * * * * * * I wanted to like it, I really did. But the truth is, it is far too soft and provides almost zero support. I agonize over my purchases, reading as many reviews as I can stand. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but want to save someone who *needs* the back support (as I do) the trouble of ordering something that might not work for them. *UPDATE* HOLY GUACAMOLE! I posted this review five days ago. As stated above, I really don't care to leave negative reviews. I am very pleased to say that I am amending my original review to the full five stars. I honestly wish I could give more than that, but I can't, so I will simply tell you why this is an excellent purchase. I posted this review on 5 March. Today, 10 March, I received a package in the post. I was perplexed, as I was not expecting a package. FORTEM SENT ME A NEW LUMBAR SUPPORT PILLOW. This one is firm but not hard, which is exactly what I need. It is PERFECT. I have days where I am seated at my computer or my work table constantly. I need something that will provide adequate lumbar support or I ache for it for the next two days. The original pillow I received was of memory foam, which I love for other things, but was not adequate for my needs. I was resigned to having to make one for myself. Then I received this in the mail today and I am beyond pleased. It's PERFECT. It is supportive and firm, with just enough give to mold ever so to my person. It is the difference between night and day for me. Without the proper support, discomfort begins within the hour and progresses from there. I keep Doan's on my desk, if that tells you anything. I have been sitting here for a while now, doing my thing, and I have no discomfort or pain. This is such a huge thing for me, it truly is. I have been through a number of chairs trying to find a proper work chair with proper support and that gets right expensive. The chair I use now works, but the back was awful. WAS awful. Great job, FORTEM. I will laud you copiously whenever appropriate, and perhaps even randomly despite what strange looks I might receive.

Very supportive & nice

I bought this lumbar support pillow to stay in my vehicle and it works well in relieving back pain and sciatica discomfort while driving. My only minor issue with it is that the pillow is a little too thick, and forces me closer to the steering wheel than I like, even with the seat as far back as possible. Having said that, though, it is effective.

I love it. I let it sit overnight to expand fully. WOW, it is great. very comfy, it's def firm but not firm enough to cause pain. It's squishy as well. doesn't sink in. The size is a bit smaller than some. but the comfort of the cushion is a win for me. It's very pretty, blue velour is the one I got. I feel very comfortable using it, no pain. Not sure it has a cooling effect since it is velour. And the thickness is great since I let it expand overnight. Excellent support. No complaints, it's a keeper for me! Thank you for a great product. Tip, let it expand overnight when you receive it, it will help, believe me.: ) very happy with this. :)

I have another one that is older (gray) that is MUCH more comfortable. The older one seems to have a nice memory foam in it, the new one is harder, slightly higher and the foam inside it does not seem like memory foam, or a poor version of memory foam. Sticks out too much and puts too much pressure on the back .

I'm a 5'1" woman and I love this! It's a little big for my size but it works perfect for me because it allows me to lean back and stretch forward my lower and middle back. I get to crack it often by just leaning back on the pillow. I unfortunately don't sit great while at work or at home so getting to stretch my back on my drive home is always a great relief. I also put it upside down on purpose as it helps stretch my back better by having the thicker side on the top.

I was a bit skeptical at first because of the low price but it is of a high quality, easy to attach to a chair, is comfortable and most importantly it works! It supports my back all day while sitting so no more lower back pain. I have several herniated disks and this provides the support to keep those disks in place. I have been using it for about 2 months now and it still looks and feels brand new. I would highly recommend this product. Lastly, since I began using this lower lumbar support, I can sit all day pain free and focus on my job which requires a lot of attention to detail.

Quality product. Just received and have been enjoying great lumbar support for hours. The straps are a particular asset.
