The Elgato Game Capture HD60 is an Amazing Device that records your gameplay at 1080P @60FPS. It's a must-have for anyone looking to capture console gameplay videos. Thanks to Amazon and Cloudtail for the One day delivery. They have an Amazing service. The package was perfectly packed, brand new. No issues whatsoever. Thumbs Up. I'm having a PS4. As the built-in game capture on PS4 is 720P @30FPS, you might need this device to capture your game at 1080P @60FPS. The hardware is small and sleek. The set-up is easy. Simple installation procedure. Hook your console’s HDMI output to the HD60’s input. Connect the HD60 out to your TV , use the supplied HDMI cable with HD60 or the PS4(or any other standard one). Then use the supplied USB cable to connect the HD60 to your computer. You’ll need to download the software from the Elgato website. You can also use OBS or Xsplit software with this device. Once that’s done you’re set. The HD60 starts sending video to your computer, the Elgato software acts like a DVR. I basically use it for recording. There are no issues found regarding audio to video sync delays and the recording AV will be in perfect sync. Click the record button on the software UI and start playing your game. The device does its job and records your gameplay. Forgot to hit record? No sweat. Simply slide back in time and capture every moment retroactively by using the "FLASHBACK RECORDING" feature. Once you have your video recorded, the software has a basic video editor and exporter. You can make some simple cuts to your video before exporting it to your hard drive in MP4 format or Share on YouTube, Facebook or Twitter. The video recorded will be excellent. I'm using the Older 2012 Mac Book Pro and it still work like a charm. I'll just add an update to this after using it for a few weeks. Overall a great device for capturing your console gameplay. If you need a 1080P @60FPS recordings of your console gameplay then no second thoughts, Just go for it. Added some snaps for you guys.

Using the elgato gaming capture card from 2 years. Not a single problem faced. Very good product.

It is a good streaming device for the starters if you are a mainstream streaming service provider are you stream regularly who needs multiple inputs overlays on your videos then I guess I would not recommend this because system does not accept this machine as a external camera. It works only with its own software and you can only stream through its own streaming accounts and settings. You have a look out that is HDMI out you have USB for data transfer USB 2.0 which is slow which has a leg of almost two to three seconds from what you record to what you see on your laptop screen,it has a audio in and when you select the analogue audio tickbox from the software it starts accepting the audio from the external source and mixes it with the HDMI in that is the video which you get audio record but while streaming it does not end quotes properly and adds a lag of another half a second which is not good I don't know if this is a YouTubes problem or the devices problem.it works on Mac as well as on Windows without any problem but it worked better on Mac all the settings in and out and coding is much faster on Mac.

I don't think its Amazon's fault if device can't record 1080p at 60fps i got good spec's laptop like i5 12gb ram 1 tb hard disk 2gb graphic card still im not able to record 60fps vdos. I don't know the reason but after i start recording at 60fps it gets shaky, audio video sync get distorted not only that sometimes video looses some frames which leaves blank screen in final vdo

De el producto El Gato Game que puedo decirles y del vendedor, excelente todo, muy contento y satisfecho con el producto; no dudo que alguien haya vivido alguna experiencia negativa al realizar una compra con "X" vendedor y haya sido "estafado" hasta cierto punto. En mi caso personal me ha ido excelente en mis compras por eso recomiendo; pero recuerda, yo no "garantizo" que te vaya a ir tan bien en tus futuras compras, les comparto mi experiencia porque bueno, hasta el momento me ha ido bien, también no quiero decir con esto que en un futuro cercano o lejano pueda vivir una experiencia de compra negativa en la cual me den "gato por liebre" como se dice coloquialmente en mi país para hacer referencia a una situación de estafa o engaño; por lo pronto seguiré comprando a través de Amazón.com.mx.

Muy buena capturadora que es capaz de capturar con una calidad brutal, compatible con PS4, Xbox One entre otras plataformas. Un tamaño muy muy reducido (menos que un smartphone) de poco peso y con un Software que es lo que le hace grande a esta marca, siendo posible incluso editar los videos desde el propio programa, entre otras cosas como por ejemplo utilizar un Micrófono que tenemos conectado directamente al PC. Am Anfang stand ich zwischen der Wahl: Elgato Game Capture HD 60 oder Avermedia Live Gamer Extreme Nachdem ich mir ein paar Vergleichsvideos angeschaut habe empfand ich das Bild der Elgato-Lösung persönlich besser. Bessere Schwarzwerte, klareres Bild und schärfere Konturen. Von daher fiel mir die Wahl recht leicht, obwohl ich mich in Auswahl von Hardware immer mehr als schwer tue. Von daher habe ich mir den Game Recorder als Amazon Warehouse Deal bestellt und auch recht schnell geliefert bekommen. Als ich die Karte erhalten habe ist mir aufgefallen, dass sie schön klein und handlich ist. Nimmt also sehr wenig Platz weg. Mitgeliefert wurden ein USB-Kabel und ein kurzes HDMI-Kabel. Der Aufbau war mehr als einfach. HDMI-Kabel aus der PS4 in den Game Recorder und ein weiteres HDMI-Kabel aus dem Game Recorder zum Monitor oder Fernseher. Dann musste nur noch das USB-Kabel am Game Recorder angeschlossen und mit dem Rechner verbunden werden. Damit war die Installation der Hardware erledigt. Was jetzt noch fehlte war die Software. Die konnte ich direkt bei Elgato auf der Homepage herunterladen. Im Vergleich zu früher wurde die Software ein ganzes Stück weiterentwickelt. Jetzt bringt sie noch die Möglichkeit mit, einen Live-Kommentar aufzunehmen und diesen auch in einer separaten Datei zu speichern. Weiterhin gibt es die Möglichkeit die Videos mit der Software direkt zu bearbeiten und auf Youtube o.ä. direkt hochzuladen. Man kann auch direkt über die Software live, z.B. über Twitch, streamen. Auch ein sehr cooles Feature. Die Oberfläche der Software ist sehr intuitiv und logisch aufgebaut. Ich kann dazu nur sagen: SEHR GUT!!! Die Aufnahmen funktionieren einwandfrei. Ich habe das Gerät nun seit 3 Wochen im Dauereinsatz und bin mehr als zufrieden. Daher kann ich hier mal mein Pro/Kontra zusammenfassen: Pro: - Sehr gute, intuitive Software - Kinderleichte Installation - Sehr gute Video-Ergebnisse in 1080p mit 60 Fps Kontra: - Nichts Ich kann das Gerät definitiv weiterempfehlen. Ganz klar: TOP PRODUKT!!!

Very good piece of kit. Fits in the hand (I guess might be important if you want to take it places?) and does a damn fine job. Just plug your Xbox/PS/PC (whatever you have that uses an HDMI out) in to one end and then plug the other end in to your monitor/tv. Finally, connect the usb cable between the device and a computer/laptop with the installed software. It's simple. One thing I was happy with was the fact that the software lets you record audio from the PC whilst it's catching the video from elsewhere. Doesn't allow for putting the audio in to a separate file though which may be an issue for some. Streaming options are there too, though for the newest consoles, that's probably not that important as they have it built in for that. Still nice though as you get a little extra control, I think. Anyway, it's a small, simple device which gives quality video recordings. A little pricey but can't say I know of anything that compares.

Customer service review below product review Ok so I took a while to get back to this and here is my updated review. The product itself is great. Its powerful, easy to use, and gets the job done right. I have had a few unresolved issues with recording time, but as long as I don't record for over an hour its fine for me. I have had multiple elgato capture systems and have loved every one of them. With that being said I still have resentment towards the elgato customer service system. I don't hate them but I try to avoid calling or contacting if at all possible and try to find a solution myself. You can read the customer service review below to see why. Overall this is a great product that I throughly enjoy. CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW 2015 My 1 star rating is not related to the hardware. The reason I have decided to take my time and give this product a 1 star rating is due to the extremely disappointing interactions I have had with the tech support department. I have had slight issues with the software in the past and have had the issues resolved in the past through their tech support dept with relative ease and in a timely manner. However, when I contacted the elgato tech support dept on Sep 17 of 2015 I began my troubleshooting procedures with the representative that was assisting me through email. This particular problem was apparently rare and had the technicians just as confused as me. Well we emailed back and fourth until I received an email on Oct 2 requesting a sample file to be re sent through their eye tv reporter to get a better look at the issue. I replied with a message saying that I had sent the file to them. Well some days passed without a word so I decided to send an email to ask if anything had been found out yet. No response. I waited 2 weeks and sent another email requesting a response (at this point I was frustrated and just wanted to know what was going on). After getting no reply for a few more days I decided to open another case hoping to get someone who could help me. All I received was an automated email saying that I would get a reply within 2 to 3 days. I replied saying that I have been having communication issues and would like to know why. All I got was another email with the exact same automated response. It is now Oct 26 and I still have not heard anything from anyone at Elgato and my issue still persists. Due to this distasteful interaction I am seriously considering to stop supporting and promoting the Elgato brand and going to another capture device if my issue is not resolved soon. The device itself is powerful, HOWEVER if you have an unusual or complicated problem, I hope that you know a lot about programming or the Elgato hardware because you will be on your own.
