Just order a size smaller
It’s the big league style helmet. What more can you say? It looks great! However these things always run huge. Whether it’s the fitted ones or the multiple size fits one. My 71/2 head would be 7 1/4 by Rawlings standards.

Great Helmet
Use this helmet for work and while it isn’t ANSI approved it is comfortable, lightweight and offers just enough airflow to keep the head cool during use.

Runs big, mediocre workmanship
The plastic shell feels thick and should provide adequate impact protection. Some glue marks were seen in the interior but that shouldn't affect the functions of the skull cap. As suggested by other reviewers, make sure to order one size down; I wear 7 3/8 hats and the medium size skull cap provides snug fit.

Works perfectly well
I use this helmet as an umpire in combination with a Force 3 mask. The mask stays on securely and I recently took a shot to the face with no ill effects. I think they run a little big. I am a 7 1/4 and I got the small. A friend showed me a medium and it was huge.

Cheap and sizing issues
Feels cheap all around. Inconsistent paint on the inside, tons of unnecessary stickers (including one of the gold Made In China ones), and most importantly, terrible padding. The "padding" is more like a strip of pleather and has essentially no actual padding to it. Due to that, the fit doesn't really have a range. 7 5/8" - 8" was advertised, but on my 7 5/8"+ head, it was completely loose and slid down my head as far as possible.

Fits big
I wear a size 8 profit hat and I have room to spare in the XXL. I like a loose fit! So 5 stars it is!

These hats are very big for their size I have a big head and the large was to big and the XL is huge.
