Very well built
This thing is built like a tank. The cold shoe mounts have enough of a lip to make for a really strong and stable attachment. I was kinda hoping plug-in power would work, but it doesn't. So the Rode Videomic Go, is a no go. I connected a powered Sennheiser condenser mic and that worked really well. Plugging a mono source into the stereo port allows you to create a safety track by changing output levels for left and right seperately so that is a really cool use case for this device.

This adapter really improved the quality of my rig - both functionally and aesthetically. Before I purchased it I would have to disconnect my shotgun mic and replace it with my interview mic when conducting interviews (which can come off unprofessional) and that led to a lot of audio complications where I wouldn't pick up the audio from the person being interviewed in-between passing the single microphone. Now, I can record both and it has saved me a lot of headaches in editing. The sound quality is great on the device - no interference and no latency issues. The feel of it is fantastic - aluminium - so, it's very light. It's super sturdy with a hot-shoe mount - so, rest assured nothing will come tumbling off of it. And it has 3 hot-shoe female ends for any other accessories you wish to add to your set-up. Overall, I strongly recommend this product for any filmmakers who have to run and gun their shoots.

Permet de brancher deux micros sur une caméra et de récupérer un son mono sur chaque canal. Mais vous pouvez aussi brancher un micro stéréo. Je n'ai pas encore fait tous les tests, mais c'est idéal par exemple pour brancher 2 micro-cravates pour des interviews avec deux interlocuteurs. Personnellement je l'utilise avec ma JVC GC-PX100 et mon Panasonic HC-V770.
